What Students Say
Likes
- College infrastucture looks really great
- The examination structure of taking 2 MSTs is a good move.
- For placements many good and reputed companies come here.
Dislikes
- The management in crucial times fails to listen to the student problems.
- For every small thing like re-appear, placement drives(TPPs) etc and tuition fees I think somewhere goes over-pricy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing BE-CSE which is more into theoretical knowledge the course curriculum is great but the faculty can be a bit better. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:70. We have 2 MSTs before finals every semester, it is an hourly test for internal exams. The PDFs of the notes are sometimes not organized in LMS, making it difficult to study during exams.
Placement Experience
For TPP students they provide special classes during summers and winters and they are able to sit in the on-campus placement drives. The companies offer a good stipend for internships and job offers. The average package offered is 8LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Compared to other colleges I think the fee structure is over-priced. And they can invest a bit more in managing the university if they are taking the high prices. For TPP, the fees should be low, and the tuition fees are also very high compared to other colleges.
Campus Life
YES, the social life I would admit is cool here. The classrooms have projectors, libraries are huge but the canteen facility needs to be improved as there are very less stalls for non-hostellers. Fests are great here.
Admission
For admission and scholarship here there is an exam called CUCET which motivates students to maintain a good score throughout the academic period but they take a seat booking fee which I think should be taken.
Other Applied Colleges
