Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum are good with supporting professors but I must admit that CU has a high intake of students which affects the faculty: student ratio. Faculties are well qualified and they teach well. Exam happens frequently and they are somewhat difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Till now I have not got any internship opportunities because I took admitted in the current year only. I have heard that students get a chance for internships but those chances are limited and for very few students.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. Students get eligible for placement from 3rd year itself. Various companies visit the campus like Google, TCS, WIPRO, Amazon, and IBM. the highest package is 1.7 Crore (International) and 55 Lacs (domestic). The average package is 7LPA at Chandigarh University. Almost 90% of students get placed at the end of 4th year. My plan is M.tech From some IIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite high at Chandigarh University. I have read somewhere in Quora that they increase 20 thousand tuition fees per year, but to maintain this hike they also give you way too many Scholarships like CUCET, on the basis of Board results, on the basis of JEE MAIN score.
Campus Life
The annual tech and fest at Chandigarh University are great. They almost provide a Top private college-like experience. Books are pretty much available in the library and you can also borrow them for a few days. Chandigarh University has a lot of extracurricular activities and societies i.e. Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, etc. There are so many clubs like Coding, Social Help, Sports, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The room has basic things like an almirah, A study table, and chair, Abed (which you have to bring your mattress). A LAN port for the internet. Meal quality is average. The registration process is quite simple but the fees are high.
Admission
I'm a student at Chandigarh University, Currently pursuing my BE in Computer science engineering. It's a good college with good infrastructure. All the needs of the student get fully filled by the college itself bet its placement, sports facilities, internship, and overall character development.
Other Applied Colleges
Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Because they replied and considered my application very late.
