I choose this course because I am interested in this course basically I am interested in frontend development and here the teacher is also very helpful and helps with every movement and there is 1 teacher among 60 students but if anyone stuck in any problem then any teacher helps you personally at any time. you can call or fix your bug. In exam time also the teacher helps you help in any problem.

basically, I am interested in the web domain so I have done many projects like Jim management system, and also I did some projects in ml part like crop recommendation text summarization. and it helps me for growing some companies like high-radius Evertz Euronext are offer internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college, the minimum Total fee for B.tech is 536000in cse domain and we got a scholarship by the jee mains result now I am in the 4th year or 7th sem the college provide internship or full-time job in many companies like Bishra, Evertz, etc.

Campus Life

Srujan is the annual fest conducted by the college and avyakt is conducted like a tech fest.in every year and some celebrated are also invited to publish the collage. in this college, the library is too big and many different types of books are available. the classroom is also much good the bench and projector are working nicely. every time the sports is going for the student who is interested not only online offline sports are also going and the winner also got a prize for the motivation of the student. There are many clubs like NSS, PDCS, ANDROIN, AND IOT, etc.

Admission

I did admission through the marks of jee mains. and I take computer science engineering in this branch I am more interested and the college provides more companies highest package is 1200000. I got the application form from the teacher at GIET University through my friend who is studying here. This college provides benefits certificate easily for loan purpose or any scholarship also provide scholarship and provide some links to government scholarships. Now colleges also improve admission through an online process of filling out the form online and here many AI tools are available teacher verifies the document of students and an online test is also available for admission and many people are also advised for admission or webinar also conducted by the college or fest or many types of cultural event and the student got chance to participate here and make a collage famous our collage is also in NIFT ranking. In this college, teachers are also helpful in nature.

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech.So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card . Due to good faculty and provide good facility in laboratory for any kind of research.Education system is high profile level.24 hour open large library due to this system no money is spend in purchasing book.other training classes also available there.international conference are attained every year. study tour facility also available.some social services also provided by the institute.
