Remarks

All in all it’s a decent college and not only bachelors degree ,masters and phd are also provided here the mess food is awesome and best campus life is very good it’s worth to be a part of jiit and you carry the tag along with you with overall and all round development.

Entrance Preview

Usually the college takes admissions from the ranks that we get in MAINS/AIEEE and their is no screening test of any sort, after this based on your rank the branches are provided and the other exam that takes place is the lateral entry that gives a direct entry in the second year.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In the 3rd year 2projects (minors) are given for enchancing the practical knowledge and till 2nd year it’s all theory with some labs. All in all the curriculum is deverse and their is enough time to learn and develop new skill

Internships Opportunities

No the internships are not provided by the college at the end of 3rd year it is compulsory to do an internship in the respective field of your branches. Usually students manage to get the desired internships

Placement Experience

I can say this is the best college in NCR in terms of placements like for CS/ITit is almost 95% and for ECE Its around 70-80% and the avergage package is about 3.5-4l.p.a and companies like Amazon,SAP, Deloitte, Ericson etc visit the campus and the minmum criteria is 60% for sitting is any exams in most of the companies

College Events

4.5

The major event that takes place is impressions that is the college fest and rest are club events that take place every month or so and the average footfall is around 2k-3k students college authorities allocate a budget and the rest is on sponsorship basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well the fees is bit on the higher side For 4 years course it is hostel-55000/sem Academic-60000/sem Development-60000/year So the total is round about rs 1160000

Hostel Facilities

4.5

For 55000/sem it’s worth taking the hostel and it includes every expense the food,ac everything the food is really tasty and the atmosphere of hostel is quite positive except the days when we have our exams

Exam Structure

We have exams 3 times in a sem 1st-T1 2nd-T2 3rd-T3 and the marking is more relative then absolute.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is quite experienced and most teachers have masters degree from IITs and phds for ITTs and they are quite interactive and helping except some teachers

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

choosing jiit over other private colleges seemed like a smart decision due to it's good average package in Delhi NCR. I applied to the northcap university in gurgaon and i was selected there but after talking to students there and looking at the average package of the college i chose jiit being it close to metro station also it is in a good location too. Main reason was fro choosing jiit was also that i didn't had good jee rank to get accepted in the good government colleges. i also got into ipu but again the placements stats influenced me alot...Read More
