Remarks

College is good but yearly fees can be minimized.College Faclities, Staff and infrastructure provided are excellent. College is very supportive if any student needs help.

Entrance Preview

I got admission here on basis of merit of JEE(joint entrance exam). I felt that this college is best for my branch in case of placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course is pretty good.Daily two hours practical sessions are done along with theory lectures. Seniors have developed app for college purpose attendance and railway /bus concession.

Internships Opportunities

No. But we get internships with help of college. There is Training and Placement cell which provides us with different internship offers. Interview process is conducted. Stipends are performance based but average stipend is 2000 per month.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. To my knowledge, around 75% students got placed in different companies. TCS is the major company that visits us. Along with that ATOS, TechMahindra, Morgan Stanley, JP morgan and many other visits our campus. Average package can be considered around 4L.P.A

College Events

3.5

ASPIRE and TECHNOVATE are two major technical fests arranged by college every year. It is huge festival and people from various regions visit during those 3 days. HORIZON is biggest cultural festival of Navi Mumbai. The response is huge. Thousands of people attend this as there as many celebrities/artist performing live. College authorities provide funding for our festivals primarily.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The 1st year fee was Rs. 1lac/year The second and third year fees was Rs. 1,15,000 per year. It will be same or above for last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college provides scholarship. No, I don't have any scholarship as they check income of family

Campus Life

College is excellent in extracurriculars.I was cohead of creative time during even sem fest which helped me a lot.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No i don't reside in hostel. Yeah but we do have college hostels in our campus. Students share those rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

I only know the names of alumni. Personally haven't met any of them.

Exam Structure

Yes we do feel tired at the end of the day. Our college timings are from 8.30am to 4.30pm. That's 40 hours a week.

Faculty

Faculty is quite qualified. Majority of them have M. E /M. Tech degrees. Also many teachers have puclished their research papers. They are helpful and interactive but the students must have interest.Teaching method is normal. Smart boards are available now and e-attendance is taken on regular basis.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember
