Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course Decision: At present, one of the most flourishing industries in the globe, is the IT Industry and with an interest in Artificial Intelligence choosing this course was one of my decision to follow my interest and later as a career. Student Faculty Ratio: 1:72 Qualification: Initially, some experienced faculty are assigned, but in later years, it's the amalgamation whereby Fresh MTech Graduates and some experienced faculty are assigned, teaching method carries from teacher to teacher but since a well-structured curriculum is defined, everyone sticks around it. Term Exams: Every Alternate month for even semesters, and every month for odd semesters(3 month semester for odd* and 5 for even)

Placement Experience

3.5

By the late 6th semester, students will start getting campus placements, for which they have to pay in the second year, to avail Campus Placements. Many companies visit the campus, and generally, if the student is good at communication, aptitude, and coding, he or she will easily get placed at good companies. generally, the no of offers is around 1-2, including mass recruiters. Highest Package and Average: Highest Offered by Palo Alto at 54 LPA and the average is around 4.5-6 LPA. Around 80-85% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Hike Policy: For every new academic year, an increment of 10k-12k is occurring. So accordingly add up as per the year of admission, the student will be taking. Scholarship: CUCET Scholarship (to continue, yearly that is two semesters aggregate or above 7.5 CGPA*), For Financial Assistance, there are various other scholarships offered which are well defined on University's website. Jobs on Campus with Stipend: Recently different internships are being introduced for which monthly stipends will be given as per the role (mainly non-tech roles*)

Campus Life

4.5

Annual Fest, Tech Fest: Fests are one of the good things, coming here and participating and volunteering at different fests, will give the required exposure for management, around 10-12 fests annually are organized. Tech Fest is generally organized by a professional society and is organized in August and September. Yearly Fest occurs in April. Library: One of the loopholes here, we find different libraries in different blocks, but Central Library was very small, and management has built up a new central library, which will be opening in near soon, so let's hope this turns out well. Amenities: Wifi, Fans, AC in Labs, Charging Ports in classrooms, digital boards. Sports: The university promotes sports, a lot taking students to various competitions and even organizing be it inter-department or inter-hostels, one who is interested in sports will get proper attention and coaches if have achieved a good level. Social Groups/Clubs: Different Clubs are there which foster in Uni.

Admission

Eligibility Criteria: 70%+ in the 12th Board Examination Application Form, Fees, and Dates: An individual admission counsellor is assigned who will try to pre-book your seat for which they ask to pay 10k, but since there is no such structured seat and reservation, one can appear for scholarship cum admission test, that is CUCET and can seek admission. Reservation: No Reservation

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
