Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are very well-educated and have a lot of experience to share. The faculties are Ph.D. from renowned universities. You can ask any doubt at any point in time and the faculties are ready to help you. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. Exams are conducted 3 times in a semester i.e. two MSTs and one end semester.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities start coming from the beginning of the 6th semester. A lot of companies like Nokia, CyberNext, Fourkites, and Scalar provide internships. Projects and Research paper is the priority and we have a lot of organization like CSI, and IEEE on our campus to assist us.
Placement Experience
The placement department (CRC) puts a lot of effort to bring all good companies to the campus. The placement is best across any private university in India. The average package is around Rs 8 LPA and the highest package for the last year is Rs 54 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, L&T, ZS Associate, etc come for placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for CSE for my batch is Rs 80000 per semester and it can be paid semester-wise. The hostel fee is paid yearly basis. Scholarships are provided on various basis such as Jee Main score, and 12th Marks, and also you can appear in the scholarship exam CUCET to avail scholarships up to 100%.
Campus Life
The campus is really lit. You will get everything you expect. The campus is lush green with a lot of places to refresh your mood. There are food outlets all around the campus but my favourite is Food Republic. The fountain area and open theatre are also present on the campus. The sports facility is a gem at Chandigarh University. The annual; fest is CU Fest which is organized in the month of March every year.
Admission
The only admission criterion is scoring at least 60% in class 12th. The application can be made from the official website of Chandigarh University. No reservation benefits as it is a private college. You can also get a scholarship by appearing in the CUCET exam and the exam fee is Rs 1000 only.
