Faculties are really good, and placement is also good.

Dislikes

Few of the faculties are very rude and shows partiality in class. Infrustructure isn't that good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study Computer Science as I want to get into tech as my career choice but my rank wasn't good enough to get into computer science and this branch of mathematics and computing is also 50% inclined towards tech hence I decided to take this branch. I don't have the exact data so I far as I have seen I am guessing that there is 1 faculty for 15 students. Qualification of the faculties and the teaching style is good. Passing the exams was not that much difficult. But there is one major flaw about this course in this particular college is that there aren't as many programming subjects that have been put in the cursed structure of mathematics and computing as much as needed to be.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for this course is 126000 INR. There is no fee concession for this course at NIT Agartala. But yeah after getting passed out with this course you get a bright future ahead if you are inclined toward tech.

Campus Life

Ayaam is our annual fest (including tech fest ) that happens around the month of February and April. Classrooms are below average. Not as good as expected from an NIT. Yeah, most of the books are available in the departmental library and if any is left then we can access the central library also for books, There are multiple clubs in NIT Agartala like DCC, ANIMA, etc.

Admission

For eligibility, I had to clear the JEE Main exam with a 75 percentile, in order to do that I had to apply through (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for the exam. And then I paid the fees through josaa and then I got a provisional admission letter from Josaa and I went to the college for document verification as per the schedule provided by the college on the college's website. And I was allotted a seat through open category.

Cultural festival moksha ix best festival
Infrastructures is good and campuses is beautifully
Natural beauty is in this campus and weather's is beautiful

Dislikes

Cities is very far from college and city connection is very costly
To attend the class to have to go very far from hostel
Shopping complex is also far form hostel

I liked the campus as a whole very much.
I liked the faculty as they are very helpful.

Dislikes

I don't like the are for playing games and sports
I don't like the lab as I sometimes get lost where the things are, as there are no directions for where to find what
I don't like the Canteen as the food are very oily.

I love mathematics, and mathematics is the subject I am most powerful in. I got 99/100 in 10th CBSE finals and 90/100 in 12th so no doubt about why I took Mathematics and the teaching methods of the teachers are fine but there is always a developing area. THe time given between exams are good

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester a student become eligible for getting placements. In the placement cell the person who is incharge helps students in all aspects to get job. In the coming April month there will be an expo of jobs in the college campus

I got very good experience because in our department most of teachers are very good and carefully manage our studies
In our college boys don't get any type of facilities but girls get some facilities that is free of cost. Addmission
Our college environment is too good and looking beautiful that's one thing I like too much

I liked plants very much that's why I chose this course. I am fully prepared for this course. We have too good teachers in our department they have good experience about plants. Internal Exam timming is 10-11 am and final is 12 am - 3 pm

Most affordable college for girls

Likes

Women's college, Agartala offers the best quality education among all the other general degree colleges affiliated to Tripura University
The education for all the students i.e. girls is free. There is no semester or admission fees taken by the college from the girl students. We only need to pay the exam fees, which is minimalto the university before registering for the semester exams.
Regular classes are conducted in Physics department. All the practicals are completed on time.

Dislikes

There is no internship opportunity or placement directly provided by the college
As it is not allowed to collect any amount of money from the students, there are almost negligible fests conducted by the college
Infrastructure needs development, more activities should be included

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.

Placement Experience:

The placement offer is good and high with 5th semester onward we are eligible for placement and the pre placement offer also there with a great hike in companies .70%studenta gets placed and the placement average is 14lpa .

I chose NIT Agartala primarily because of its reputation as a National Institute of Technology and the specific opportunities within the Production Engineering department. While I looked at other NITs and some private universities, NIT Agartala offered a better balance of ROI and industry recognition. The admission process was smooth, handled entirely through JoSAA/CSAB based on my JEE Main rank. The eligibility required clearing the cutoff and having a good percentage in the 12th boards. i choose this collage because this collage is in my home state, and for me going somewhere else, out of stste will be a problem finencially. Eyeopener

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank .
