SVIT Vasad, Be Comp

Reviewed on Nov 19, 2015

Remarks

Its good for expecting students around vasad area of gujarat its nothing special so that outsiders attract of.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for GUJCET exam for 12th std, where in I scored 60 though the score is less, merit is calculated based on 12th score + Gujcet overall.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is of 8 semesters the duration of each semester is 6 months so for completing engineering is 4 years (if no backlog) which completely depends on how seriously you take your academic.

Internships Opportunities

College does not offer internship student have to find internship by there own college does help to have your internship club with your academic project.

Placement Experience

When the students are in last year of the engineering, college invites many companies like IBM, Infosys, L & T Infotech, and many other known companies offering good package.

College Events

4.5

Annual event, Prakarsh - national level symposium which consists of concerts and many planned & on the spot activities also, the architecture dept of the college does have different event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is semester wise if you want, you can also pay fees for year fees are different based of which seat you occupied while admission (General, Management Quota, NRI) Paying fees beyond deadline, may charges extra fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the students who score awesome in academics college does offer scholarship to extra ordinary students.

Campus Life

For sports it is one of the best & famous college in gujarat it does gives chance to each student to participate in any of the sport and represent college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Does not provide hostel and mess facility to avail these facility you need to contact external service I would recommend you to contact any senior of same college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

College gives huge platform for alumni students during yearly program so that each of student who were part of college meet their faculties and share their experience with existing students.

Exam Structure

Internal exams (twice in one semester) external exams (once at semester end) practical examsviva (oral exams).

Faculty

Faculties of SVIT are very experienced and cooperative engaging with them for any doubts and projects is quite a great experience attendance to results, they are always concerned about every small matter of student.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
