There is no internship provided, when I was studying. At presentI am not aware of how the approach is going on.
Placement Experience
There was no companies visited, when I passed out. But, now, a days some companies are visiting as I have seen from college site. You have the option to go for off campus and arrangements were made for the students. For the first 3 places in each department will be awarded monetary benefits. Like Rs.15K for 1st, 10K for 2nd, 5K for 3rd places every year in each department. Gold ring for the all the students with 75% plus score with 60% in all subject in first year.

There are multiple events held every year: Annual day functions, Paper presentation meet from each department every year, Annual sport meet, Hostel day function, Kirithigai celebrations, Festival time celebrations, FEAST every month at hostel

If you get more than 90% in SSLC and HSC, there was a fee waiver. Free lodging and boarding were offered. For some students, free tution fee also, provided. Now, you have to inquire about it.
Campus Life
In mechanical gender ratio is very very less as like in other colleges, for us it was 3 ladies and 66 gents. But, other departments are equally spreaded. Campus life is very good, no ragging, even if any complaint received on the same, the punishment would be severe with strict enquiry and debar, semester withdraw kind of incidents happened. Extra curricular activities are always appreciated there.
Hostel Facilities
When I was studying the food was only Vegetarian, now Non vegeterian also, included. The food was very good, in quality and quantity. Very healthy food have been served all the time. There was less close time of mess during college vacation. You would get

Every year the meet happens, it was a good network formed, we can get lot help on this. Most of Alumini are participating in the meet, and good data base of Alumini has been maitntained.
