Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college by eamcet and it provides good faculty and as I am interested in mechanical I joined in this college and faculty also closer and interactive with students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good. However, the curriculum is quite base on theoretical concepts. The practical knowledge is quite less. The curriculum has good concepts and topics. However, most of the topics are outdated. The concepts are pretty interesting.

Internships Opportunities

College provide internships for various business ideas of students. Atharva college helps in total growth of students. So they come with idea of taking suggestions from students.

Our college is worshipped by various companies. Companies from IT, Computer and public sector come to the college to hire students. Placement records are nice. And new companies also coming to college every year. Students got packages upto 15 lakhs.

College Events

Every year they host one Tech event called 'Techithon' and one culture event both in different semesters. This events are packed with lots of fun, knowledge and many exited things. Many students from various colleges come to our college to participate in these festivals and events. Events are generally lasts for 3-5 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is reasonable for the students but the fee and is much better than other colleges in warangal and it has 75000 per annum and 34000 per semester

Fees and Financial Aid

It provides scholarship for students but scholarship is based on the caste and it provides 5000 per year for students

Campus Life

After 1st year every branches have unique syllabus. All teachers are friendly and new. So all have latest knowledge and they help students in every trouble.

Alumni/Alumna

All faculties of college are friendly and helpful. They promote students to take participation in latest tech events, syllabus related seminars and latest knowledge related campaigns. Most of faculties are new. So they have latest knowledge and good teaching qualities.

Exam Structure

The exam structure consists of two unit tests and one main exam along with the vivas and practical exam in a semester.The unit tests are in two months which becomes quite hectic for the students. Sample time is given to prepare for the semester exams. We also get enough days in between two papers to prepare for the exam.

Faculty

The faculty is quite good. Some of the faculty members are pursuing their Ph.D.'s. The faculty has the knowledge of the subject thoroughly and is well aware of all the concepts in the curriculum. They teach the classes quite seriously and provide useful note and question papers for us to help us prepare for the exams.

Worth considering for your tech career

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Relevant and practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

A valuable four year journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer.This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more.The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
