Remarks

The college is very good. Day by day the college placements are also improving and it has no remarks to give and our college will place in top colleges

I guess our college is best in sports facilities. We have two grounds one is basketball court and other where cricket volleyball and baseball like games are played

I have taken mechanical engineering .I has good faculty for my department and all facilities are good interactive with students

Internships Opportunities

No stipend was offered but knowledge given was by far more important.We were allowed to do internship in our vacation in various companies of our fields.

Placement Experience

Equal opportunities were given to all the students regarding placements.Many companies were invited for recruitment.So almost all were placed in good companies.

College Events

The college were celebrated very glamorously.It had a cultural event named Rhythm.A great event organized by students.And supported by teachers.Hence nicely celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in our college is very feasible or we can say affordable. Average fee for engineering is around 70000-80000 thousands. Cast wise the fee is deducted. For obc it is around 30000-40000, For NT, ST it is 7000-8000. So overall this is feasible. I dont have idea about other branches but it is in this range to.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility was available. I did not took it since my parents were able to pay all the fees at one go.

Campus Life

Students were encouraged to participate both in curricular as well as co curricular activities

Alumni/Alumna

A good network of contact have been maintained for alumni students.Students are called to encourage new students of first year.Hence new students were highly trained.

Exam Structure

You have to attend two term test per semester and the average of this two tests are considered and then u will have to appear for the semester exam. Two semesters per year also there will be vivas for some subjects and practicals to.

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Relevant and practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

A valuable four year journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
