What Students Say

Likes

Campus, teachers discipline, unity, proper dress code

Dislikes

Nothing as a fresher I didn't have anything to dislike

Course Curriculum Overview

Apart from the college campus, if we will talk about faculties they are really very nice and cooperative then even give us extra classes if we have any doubts. They behave with us like our family members and I am very happy that I got such awesome teachers.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Internships Opportunities

According to our seniors, most of them get internships in tech Mahindra they also get into TCS and all because of the dedication of teachers and giet. After all the people who do well speaking, get good internships 637.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we talk about fee structure then it is much less in comparison to other universities. They give quality education. And if we talk about placements then the placement is 100% sure no doubt. And scholarships are always available. Before two years one of the students got into Amazon with 17LPA.

Campus Life

Yeah campus of giet is really awesome and we do cultural fest and even reading clubs and yes the fests all are really awesome I really enjoy being a part of giet. If we talk about the classroom then every classroom has CCTV cameras and discipline is maintained in the class and apart from these if we talk about sports then we have periods for games and library etc.

Admission

Giet is such an awesome University in Gunupur of Rayagada district. Every student gets good knowledge, learns discipline and everyone gets good placement. I am very happy to be a part of Giet University. The admission was really easy and smooth the staff was really helpful.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech. So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card .
