What Students Say

Likes

The ambience of the campus is clean and green which makes it a beautiful place toh live and learn . It has greenery all over , which is soothing and calming.
The campus is vast with experienced faculty
The courses are practical and easily approachable.

Dislikes

Ill management of the resources and departmemt
Less involvement of students in the decision making

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this course provides a high scope in the future of the bank government. This course provides research work and knowledge about the subject in detail. Also, this course provides knowledge about new opportunities.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are normal and affordable but in the new session, there is a fee hike. The fees of this course are affordable to all and also for low caste students it is affordable and much less than the normal students.

Campus Life

There has been no fest in the last 7 years and also there is no hope that it will be in the future. Library family is there .library is huge but there AC is not working and it feels very hot in the library which makes it difficult for a student to sit and study there.

Admission

This entrance exam is conducted once a year and students who have streamed physics chemistry biology and physics chemistry maths can opt for this exam. Min 60% in class 12 this required for this entrance exam.

NICE COLLEGE

Likes

well discipline staff and teachers, they took your concern seriously and try to solve as soon as possible, teachers are also very good and talented as i was students from COVID BATCH but in online classes also they teach us with discipline.
Campus is very beautiful, almost in 60 acres with 3 cafes inside the campus and dominoes .so much facility also available inside the campus like swimming pool gym horse riding dance classes ATM service and many more.
So many international students was there and people from different state means from all over the India which is play a very important role in my personality development and understandin in different culture of India.

Dislikes

i think think i don't like about my college is they invite so much company for interviews which really bring a so much pressure on student shoulder to perform well and last year students are already in so much pressure due to uncertainty of their fut
my college culture is so much upgraded and being a middle class this is really tough to adjust in such culture its almost take 1to 2 years to adapt that culture generally people from rich family or upper middle family took admission in GD GOENKA uni.
Tution fee is also so much in compare to other university to for the same course also teachers are not specific for their subjects they can teach you anythings and also if you have backlog then you have to pay 5000per subject which is also so much .

Course Curriculum Overview:

i rate 8 out of 10 there is positive and negitive aspect of every things my university was good in many aspect but also there is so many crons , according to me main crons of university is at the time of placement they being very serious compare to their acedamic .

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Likes

Lovely campus with lots of greenery and awesome wibes.
Botanical garden is a place full of flowers and many other things, its a very peaceful place.
Library because a huge amount of books are present in it and a wide variety of journals and books

Dislikes

Discrimination based on gender as the timings of girls hostels are limited.
Many times we have to walk to fields in scroaching sunlight when vehicles are not available.
Fees has been increased and scholarship remaind as such and even decreased

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Remarks:

Management faculty is not soo good. Department is more friendly than management faculty. University is not so big so we know each teacher and teachers know us by name and by face so this will create more understanding between us.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it. Not everyone should avail and missuse this opportunity...Read More
