What Students Say

Likes

infrastructure, events, helpful seniors, ragging free campus

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

faculty members are very friendly and highly qualified . faculty student ratio is like 1/20 and most of them are from iits. i chose b.tech as i aim to be a software developer and honestly this is the best private university in north india according to me.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 3600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the one thing college is being not chosen is for the high fees. but the good pov is , they provide scholarships upto 50% in cse and upto75%in other courses but you would have to maintan it by maintaining at least 8 cgpa throughout the course

Campus Life

4.5

the university provides everything in the campus only, by everything i mean EVERYTHING. they have various shops like tuck shop and various food outlets like kathi junction and maggi point which are active round the clock

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is good served on first cum first serve basis. double share room aare most likely to not provived if you did not reserve a room very early by paying rupees 50000 as advance for hostel. and also, network speed is very less

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

bennett university has a merit based admission process , on the basis of your 12th or entrance results you will be provided offer letter and scholarship detail with scholarship of upto 50% in cse and upto 75% in other courses.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Bennett University worth or not ???

Other colleges I applied for were -- VIT Velore, SRM University, Manipal University and sat for counseling too. The reason I didn't take admission in these colleges was mostly because of the distance from my home. I wanted a good college near my hometown and Bennett was the perfect candidate. It was close to my home city, provided the course I wanted to take and had a decent average package. The curriculum, fests, infrastructure and in general living conditions here at Bennett University are better than those at other colleges. But the placements and the education quality need improvement. The admission process is pretty simple: just register on the website, then fill out the form. After this, you have to come to the college to complete the registrations, that's it....Read More
