Remarks

Our college is good in responding towards the students in their academic performance and the faculty is also good.Infrastructure should be properly developed and the food accommodation should be good.Maintance is also up to mark.Good rating for this college.

Entrance Preview

I have came into this college by writing TSEMCET which was conducted by the state government of telagana to get the admission in this college.I was secured a rank below 20000.My rank was 15700 which was good enough to get a nice seat in this institution. There was no any pervious interview conducted by the institute. My brother inspired me take this course and it was also my goal to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course CSE which i took was really nice and interesting.i am feeling very tensed to still learn More in detail about the subject. But sometimes it really becomes very tough to learn the course because it makes me confused very much.Yes there are some research initiatives going in our institution to develop a app that works for developing games. This is really a good decision by our college to develop such an interesting idea.

Internships Opportunities

No the college spent provide any internship because they themSleves provide us a internship in our college with proper requirements. There is no average stipend given to any of the students by the institute.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our placements scenario is also good.any of the students are getting places in various reputed companies. They are being selected by their practical knowledge and hardworking ability towarda the course. The major comapines that visited our campus are BPL , Google,TVS,tech mahendra,Global India,Multi computer technologies..etc.The average package for a student was 28000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am paying a sum of rupees 35000 my tuition fee and 11000 towards my transport fee.I got a consission of rupees 10000 towards my merit marks in intermediate and tenth class.Yes this fee also affordable to me pay.I am really happy to get some fee consission.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty is really good and highly professional. They are really good enough to teach us and they are also blessed by good knowledge. All of our faculty members are having their graduation in big institution and many of them are doctorate.Yes sometime they also interact with us during our class time. They also rectify our doubts while the class is going on.They provide us peoper materials to study.all the topics which are explained by them are having lots of information.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

My college experience inOUCE

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment, good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate, civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.

Reality of deccan college of engineering and technology

Likes

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Likes

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

I chose this course because of my interest in computers and mainly AI, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is better but it can be improved. The qualification of the faculty here is PhD forest of the faculty and B.com for some assistant professors

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability. As soon i checked that my score and rank was sufficient to get admission here, I filled the form online and in the very first list, I had my name and without wasting any time, I took admissions here....Read More
