Few teachers are there who doesn't teach just to score mark. But to gain knowledge
some teachers are good , but one teacher doesn't even makes us understand the topic

I want to learn, How works the matine. I love computers. In my department, all the faculty members are good, helpful educated and tech well. Transport Facility and hostel Facility are available, well conditions labs. It doesn't matter if you pass the exam because the study is very good, all the students pass it.

Our college offers many facilities and placements. There are many companies ( TCS, Cognizant, P30) etc. the internship program is going well in our college. Almost 75% of student gets placed in our college. And many internships are offered. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, virtues etc

Placement: Almost 75% of students get placed in our college and I also got a good placement. Our college provides good placement. The highest salary package offered in our course is 35 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.3 LPA. if you want a higher salary package you have to work hard. There are many companies ( TCS, Cognizant, P30) etc. internship programs that are going well in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very easy and simple. The first-semester fee of 25 thousand or 30 thousand should be paid at the time of admission. And will have to pay according to the next semester. The scholarship will be provided to eligible students in order of merit and subjects to the budgetary allocations provided by the government, For renewal the applicant will be eligible for the scholarship if he/ she has obtained 50% marks in his/ her previous exam.

Campus Life

I had a very good campus life in college. I am enjoying every moment of college And had a lot of fun in cultural activities. Siliguri Institute of Technology The green surroundings of the college are mesmerizing.

Paid Registration, Documents Uploading and Branch Preference Selection. The minimum marks required in class 12 are 50% for the general category and 45% for the SC and ST category students. Merit listing (Branch Allocation). Fees payment. Documents Verification.

From fifth or 6 semester is present become eligible for campus placement. There is no company visited in our college. The highest package of our college is 32 LPA and the average package of our college is 4LPA. 82.7% MCA

My IEM

Likes

Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.

Dislikes

Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Likes

Supportive faculty - Helpful and friendly teachers
Great canteen - A favorite Spot for students
Safe atmosphere - No ragging, ensuring a positive environment

Dislikes

distance issues - 5-7 minutes walk from the station
Lack of eateries - No restaurants or cafes nearby
No direct private vehicles available; they are available only on extra payment

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Likes

Practical exposure to learning, good internship opportunities, exposure to trained industry professionals
Well-equipped labs and training/learning facilities
Sustainable infrastructure and campus design

Dislikes

Limited library resources and heavy dependency on e-books, with a mismanaged book rental system
There are some blocks which need better connectivity features, frequent jamming occurs there

I got TFW quota in this college from WBJEE Counselling, so for this the total fees for me is 1/8th of the fees paid by other, who take admission through Direct or with WBJEE Counselling itself.
