Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am interested in developing applications so I chose computer science and engineering. The faculty and student ratio is very good in Chandigarh University. In each class, there is 60 student with a very good ratio of teachers. All faculty of Chandigarh University are well qualified, mostly all the teachers are master's degree holders. There are two mid-term examinations before finals, both mid-term examinations held within 1 one-month gap The first mid-term examination is held after 1 month when the semester starts. The examination is not very difficult if you read the syllabus you will get the best score.
Internships Opportunities
social internship in 2 sem including social work, we can do online internships, and the university provides us with internship opportunities it's compulsory to do projects every semester, like working projects (website, helping tool, management system ), also research papers can be published through the university.
Placement Experience
from 6th semester onwards you can grab placements based on one"s skills. TCS, Microsoft, amazon,wipro, and many more including product-based and service-based both take students around(400-500),(and 300-1000) respectively. 1.3 cr is the highest average 12lpa About 80 % of students get placed every year. I am preparing for the gate exam and I will proceed with my master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my course is Rs 1,20,000 per year, total fees in four years are - Rs 8,80,000, We get scholarships through cucet examination conducted by the university itself in which we have criteria of 10% to 100% based on the marks you get. the scholarship amount is deducted from the semester fee every semester.
Campus Life
fest and events occur every month, actually, various fest and concerts are held main event of fresher is razmataz and there is a general proficiency course in which you develop yourself in cultural activities and go ahead in competitions including international competitions too. there are about 5 libraries in the whole campus according to the department, and also the central library building. the classroom is wide and includes 60 students for lectures, whereas for labs there is a group divided in every section for laa i.e. 30 students for labs. you have AC in labs, projectors, pc, in the classroom you have projector charging points and fans. we have a sports complex near campus, including various sports, and events like sports meets, etc.
Admission
Eligibility for the course is 70 percent in 12th and students have to pass in cucet examination. Application forms, fees, and application dates are shown on the official website of Chandigarh University. There are no reservation benefits in Chandigarh University because it is a private college. NO, the admission process is very well structured so I did not want any improvement.
