I wanted to become a software engineer and i love coding, because of the interest i chose this course. Faculty members are brilliant. Term exams were held every 2 months and if you prepare well from starting you can easily score 9+ cgpa.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered such as in the department of artificial intelligence and robotics where you can develop your skills that helps in your future jobs. There are group projects that helps in developing confidence.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements or higher studies. Companies such as bajaj finance and other international and multinational companies visits and offers 25lpa and above. 100 percent students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite expensive as they charge 345000 for the course and hostel fees is 200000 but they also give world class facilities such as 24/7 wifi, ac, etc. Scholarship was only for those students who got rank below 5000.

Campus Life

Life at campus is good. We have infinitus as an annual fest which is conducted in February or march. There are many clubs you can join. 1000 of books are their in library to help you prepare and novels also if you are interested in reading books.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in room are 24/7 wifi, air conditioners, separate beds and tables to study, cupboards and private washrooms. Not satisfied with the meals in the mess. Registeration process for the hostels or transport is done through online mode only.

Hostel Fee: INR 175000 per year

Admission

Admission process was completely online. Yes there was an entrance exam which was in online mode too. You can apply for the form through their official website. Fees structure, average package, maximum package, and everything else is on their official site.

Placement Experience:

The placements of students are managed by VIIT Training and Placement (T & P) cell, guiding the students, being supportive, conducting aptitude and coding sessions time-to-time. Students are eligible to placements from the end of 6th semester. Top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte visit regularly. Packages range from 3.5 - 10 LPA. Highest package was offered by Amazon i.e. 50 LPA, to the CSE graduate. Average package CTC ranges from 4-5 LPA. 85 % of students gets placed. My plans after the degree is not yet decided, I may secure a job or gonna opt for higher studies.

So probably my course is cyber security. It helps me more and grow in society for a better gentleman in society like the cyber security helps more in society by stopping cyber crimes. Cyber thefts etc. It's also teaches the Bitcoin and trading course especially they teach how to deal with market. The cyber security has a opportunity by entering department of police by doing tracking activities and surfing in websites and stopping cyber crimes in surrounding areas. So the curriculum of cyber security has a great future.

After completing my intermediate I have applied for sastra University Thanjavur,SRM AP,VIT AP. However I couldn't get into sastra as I didn't get a CSE seat in it due to less marks and regional difference. Compared to VIT and SRM I thought SRM is better as it has better infrastructure, placements and good faculty. Students can get admission either through SRMJEEE or EAMCET . There is no cutoff rank for students through SRMJEEE. Cutoff for Students through EAMCET changes according to their caste. I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE. The online tests make it easy to join. Most students use the SRMJEEE exam for entry. The counseling is very fast and fair. You need a 60% score in high school to apply.
