Entrance Preview
UPSEE - I opted rank 43,000. This was the college which I think is a good fit for me that time as most of the MNC's liek TCS, HCL, Infosys, Satyam came for placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was divided in 8 semesters covering basic to the advance of each and every subject. Initially the first years course was same for all the students, and second year things changes a bit, but 80% same as other branches.In third Year and final Year courses are core branch wise.
Internships Opportunities
College did not provide any internship, student has to find himself a solutions for that. College just want internship certificate, no matter you bought it from somewhere. There was no Stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement was fine, though I was passed out in the time when there is a black out in IT industry. Companies like TCS, HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra use to visit college and give good offers to the students who pass in interview and written examination.
College Events
There was an annual program called Cerebrum, which was the most advance celebration among other colleges in Agra region.Students and college management cordially do the arrangements, Every year their is a new guest at the Cerebrum. I remember Kumar Vishwas and Radhu form roadies at my time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee details that time was feasible for a middle class family. But as of now the fees I guess is very expensive. the tution fee is OK but the hostel was highly expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was there but was not given by college, it was given by state government, Rs. 25000 For the general category students and Rs. 70,000 to SC, ST and Minority class.
Campus Life
College life is always the best life one has lived in his past. No matter the college is good or bad. But as far as Anand Engineering College is concerned, things are good here, the labs, sports, debate classes, all are too good and memorable.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities in the hostel are OK OK types, I can rate it 4 out of 10. The mess as usual is same as that of all private colleges. The food is always an issue between the management and the students.
Alumni/Alumna
I request all alumni to help your juniors in getting jobs, think of the days when you are jobless.
Exam Structure
Class Tests (CT) was conducted on weekly basis that too on Monday, means you can't chill out on weekends.Other than that, the labs are equipped with very low grade systems, 512 Mb ram in computer lab systems. Rest can be assumed.
Faculty
Faculty was mostly M.Tech, PHD. Some are B.Tech as well which was studying M.Tech from different institutions. Some faculties are well experienced and some are just passing time, they are preparing for higher studies
