Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Big Data and Analytics as it is the most demanded course nowadays. Faculties encourage us to do things and they are polite. Ratio if I tell you about my class, approximately 10 girls and 50 boys are there. Faculties are highly educated and the teaching method is fine. First MST - Month, then the second another month, and the End Semester is in 4th month of the semester (approx). Difficult subjects like Probability and Statistics are not easy to pass. But, for the other exams, if we prepare well, we can pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee doesn't increase, it will remain the same as what we paid in the first semester. For the next batches, it hikes year after year, about 10-15000. Scholarships are of two to three types, first CUCET, second UG, or the 12th based, merit-based. They provide a loan facility also. I have not got a job till now.
Campus Life
2 Big Fests happen every year, one in the odd semester and one in the even semester. CU Fest and another fest. Tech fests are organized regularly. Lots of books are available in the library, also there are Digital Libraries in which E Gate access is also provided. A few Classrooms have Air Conditioners and almost every lab have air conditioner and Projectors. They encourage students towards sports also, there is a whole different department for that. IEEE is also there. Student clubs like Vibe and the musical club are also there.
Admission
I got admission to the university through CUCET. After showing interest, I got a call from an admission office and they told me thoroughly about the course I have been interested in. After I said I needed some time to think about this, they held that up for 1-2 weeks, and then I got another call. After I called them back, they asked for the details and I got admitted, but only after giving the CUCET as necessary.
