Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science because I want to work in the field of cloud technology, computer science branch focuses on cloud development. The students are amazing in my class they are very eager to learn about technology. Most of the faculties are from IIT, NIT, and Ph.D. The teaching method is very practical there are labs and there are smart classes in every class which also help in a better understanding of content. In niet, they conduct three internal names as sessional which held in a span of 1 month, the maximum marks of the sessional exam is 30. It is not very difficult to pass the exam, you have to just follow your faculty class notes and class lectures and assignments given by the subject faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came into college to hire students such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, HCL, Amazon, and Microsoft. Most students get placed at an average package of 5.5 LPA. The highest placement was 44 lacs by Microsoft.
Placement Experience
After the 6-semester placement drive starts in the college TCS is the mass recruiter, the average placement is 5.5 LPA and the highest is 44 LPA by Microsoft. Mostly all the students get placed in decent packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in 2023 is 170000 and from the second year it decreases, Students can fill up a scholarship form to get a scholarship colleges make efforts to get a scholarship, and apart from the scholarship branch toppper get a 15000 cash prize. Students can grab internships from 2nd-year college support students to grab internships.
Campus Life
The campus life is good, every Friday there is an event, and there are many clubs such as Kalakriti, khusiya baaton, coding club, and many others. The sports facility is good there is football, badminton and basketball court available inside campus.
Hostel Facilities
College provides hostel facilities for students, there are 2-seater, 3-seater, and 4-seater rooms available in the hostel, and there are AC and non-ac rooms in the hostel. The quality of food is average and the hostel provides 4-time meals.
Admission
I have been admission to NIET Greater Noida through UPTAC counseling in 2022. Through counseling, I got a Fee waiver seat in the Computer Science Branch as my overall rank in jee mains was 118046. I have to pay only 60000 for 1st year and after 1st year my fees are reduced to 35000.
