Likes

The overall experience at KIMS College all the facilities are very supportive.
Our principal madam was also supporting for the academic and the extra curricular activities.
There are somany programs in our college and all the programs are very memorable and all students enjoyed it.

Dislikes

The distance from the hospital and college is so far.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the job and I like the nurses and their support given to the patients and bystanders, There are 38 faculty members in our college the student ratio is About 400. The qualification of the faculty was MSC Nursing the term exams conducted by 3times and 50% is the pass marks.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was very high in Kerala, especially in private colleges for studying BSc Nursing according to the other states. I can't get any scholarship from the college, and there is no other financial support.

Campus Life

The annual fest was the college day celebration that was present all year in our college There are so many books and journals available in our college. There are so many extracurricular activities in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel there are so many facilities in rooms attached bathroom present. There are different types of menu and the food was average. The registration process was good for the hostel and affordability. My accommodation was rented near the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 81000 per year

Admission

Should pass the 12th board exam find the application process from the PNCMAC and apply for the LBS then I take the NRI seat from the college and the fee structure provided by the college. I don't get any reservations because I am Roman Catholic and in the general category. In the admission process, no improvement is needed.

My college

Likes

our management always focus on students welfare
Good facilities in hospital setting and good supervision
Extracurricular activities likecultural fest sports day ,flash mobs etc

Dislikes

There is more girls than boys in my class
No enough class rooms at present but they are building new building for upcoming batches
Some times its feel like trs were more stressing on students

The curriculum is planned by the class cordinator with the help of principal.they arrange all the monthly and sessional exams They also arrange the practical side also after completing the theory block

Likes

Campus and infrastructure are excellent.
Staff and facilities are very friendly and approachable
Good clinical exposure for students on every department

Dislikes

No stipend is provided on internship is the major drawback
Lack of permanent faculty in several department.
Prolonged posting hours without any stipend

The coming age scenario of ophthalmic diseases requires latest technologies and knowledgeful health care providers in the society.In this scenario Bsc Optometry graduates are required in the field of diagnosis, treatment, management of ophthalmic patients.

Everything you should know about MIMS college of nursing

Likes

College have a beautiful view and it's looks soo eco-friendly and class rooms have AC/air conditioner and have a regular maintenance of class rooms and college surrounding,
Teaching faculty are nice and they help us clear doubts in every time , 50% of teachers are very friendly
College have a great review in post course interviews and it helps more to get job after the course

Dislikes

50% of college faculty are strict and they are very negative, like they make us mentally depressed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it have a 100% job chance and also it's a medical profession,so it's scope doesn't lose Curriculum is relevant and it's really helpful for our real world applications and as we know it have a more practical approach than theoretical because it's a nursing profession. Course curriculum is very hard like we have a lot of assignments for writing,we get mentally ill after this course, we got no time for mental relaxation I feel like drop the course Teaching methods used in college are ppt presentation and real approaches because it's a nursing profession Theory class we get completed in 2 mouths , the whole syllabus will get completed like a bullet train and the next 3 mouth gonna be practical/clinical study Even in clinics the hardest is assignments, around 450 pages in clinics and 150 pages in theory Overall 600 page assignment is written in one semester Two Internal Exams are conducted within 2 months

it is a co oprative institutions so good management
better fecilties no much bigger cambus as not bigg

not good campus structure is bad staff are good
situates on a hillly region so transportation have risk

I got admission in this college based on my 12th marks. I am doing BSc nursing in this college. They have total 60 seats for BSc nursing course. Admission is given based on candidates 12th marks. A candidate must have at least 50% marks in physics chemistry biology and english in their 12th standard.

Faculty of government college of nursing Jaipur it's good college infrastructure is very old and the place of government college of nursing Jaipur is very shortbut Shankar garden of government college of nursing is very very good
