Why one should opt for Chandigarh University

I choose Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering as I loved this course and also this college provides really well placements for this field. While I talk about the faculty they have been doing great, they are pretty interactive with the students and most of them helping in various ways like projects or placements and many more. Qualification of the teachers were minimum to Masters in the same or required field for this course. Our exams are mainly 2 mid sems happening after 1 and 2 months after the start ofthe semester and also followed by the practical mid sems in between them also it is not very difficult to pass them and then there is the final exams which are compartively easier.

Various companies include LinkedIn, autodesk , Shaadi.com which provided the internship as well as performance based PPOs to the students. There are various roles that are being offered in the college including Software Developer and GET and Data Scientist roles and many more others as well. I've been on various projects and a researchpaper published on my name helped bythe college itself. They helped me alot to kickstart my career.

Students get eligible from 6th semester when the companies start visiting college and conducting drives. There are various companies including Amazon, TVS motors, DXC, TCS, Wipro, and many more big MNCs as well. Highest package that was offered from our college was around 48 lakhs per year and average was around 7LPA. A number of companies visit our college numbering upto 300. 80-90% of the students get placed. My plans are also the same I am placed.

It is comparitively affordable college to study rather than others demanding 30 Lakhs for the course also it has a better return on investment as the placements are one of the best in this field of computer science from all over India. There are various scholarships that are there like they give Scholarships on your 10+2 scores also there are scholarships on JEE mains scores followed by many other benefits. Jobs we get have an average stipend of 35000-45000 thousand per month which is a descent salary to start with.

Life at campus is fun loving if you have great friends and a comforting atmosphere which you can easily get in this college, I got one. There are various events that are regularly going on in this college including DJ nights and interhostel competitions , dance competitions and many more. There are more than 5-6 libraries in this college with bulk of books present. You can play various sports in this college, it even includes rugby as well, almost every sport is here as they've already made a sports complex for the same.There are various groups as well in the college including photography club dance club and even adventure sports club.

Hostels are way better than any hostel on movies or other colleges with AC ducts present and lan cable / free wifi available. Also the food is good with descent taste and healthy food options which change every days. There is particular registration process you just need to apply for the same on the college website and you can get it and it is pretty available with various rates varying from 80000 to 120000.

I applied through a teacher who was taking admissions in the college. She helped me through the same and after paying around 10000 for admission I was finally an official student of this College. Eligibility criteria when I took the admission was 60% or more in 10+2 but now its 70% and more. There are different slots when this college takes admissions including Batches from August till October. Application fees is same as Rs 10000. while one can start the admission process from March as well. It's very easy process.
