Remarks

I think ABBS has a very good culture of teaching and providing practical knowledge about the outside industry. The teaching staff is very helpful and friendly. In overall, the management is very good.

Entrance Preview

I took KMAT exam and opted for this college because my friend suggested me this college as it has a good reputation and is among the best B-schools in Bangalore. I also did a little research about the college and found that it had good faculty and other teaching staffs. It also provided hostel facility so I opted this college as it matched my requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This college is affiliated to Bangalore University, hence the course structure is accordingly. However, I feel the university syllabus is not being updated with the changing requirements of the outside corporate world. It is more theoretical than practical.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internship in the second year of MBA sometimes the internships are paid and sometimes not paid. it also depends on the student and the company offering the internship

Placement Experience

3

I am in the first year now so we do not have placements yet, but for our seniors, some companies had come for placements and many of the seniors even got placed mostly companies offering marketing profile are visiting our college for placements the companies that came offered a package of around 2-3 lacs per annum.

College Events

4.5

We have a lot of events going on in our college throughout the year every semester we have management fests which are within our college. We have whole week events from each clubs like the Marketing club, Finance club, HR club, etc. Once a year we have one big management fest which is inter-college fest and many students from other colleges come and participate. We also have cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for PGCET students, Management students, and International students. For PGCET students the fee is quite feasible,.....but for the other two categories, the fees are relatively very high. It is expensive for international students

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there is no scholarship offered by the college in particular but there are students from PGCET who further can apply for the scholarship. For international students, there is EDCIL consultancy that provides scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

We have a lot of extracurricular activities like sports events and different club events we also have cultural events, we also have fests every year. we celebrate the ethnic day, teachers day, etc. we have book reviews and guest lectures.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are three hostels. One for Boys and Two for girls that are one domestic and one international hostel for girls the rooms in the domestic hostel are not that great compared to the international hostel. The mess food is good and there are a variety of dishes throughout the week.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not that great. we do interact with our immediate seniors within the college, they conduct welcoming events and many other interactive events where seniors and juniors come together and interact by playing some games or a talk session through which our seniors guide us

Exam Structure

We have two internal examinations in one semester and we also get assignments in all subjects. the assignments are based on the Bangalore university syllabus and for every subject, we have an assignment of each module this helps us get the practical knowledge about the subjects.

Admission

I am from Nepal, so I am an international student here. I applied to this college through Indian Embassy in Nepal. The admission process for international students is a long process. We are supposed to apply in our home country and then go through the 2 step selection process which includes written examination and a final interview, after clearing only we get admission in a college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty at ABBS is among the best. they are very good at their core subjects and their teaching ways are very practical. They are always ready to help and impart knowledge anytime, They are up to date with the changing requirements in the industry and we do a lot of learning outside the class through extracurricular activities.

The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.
