Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in CSE so I have opted for computer science. The faculty members are good as you know it depends on the individual but at last, they were nice and helpful except 2-3. Most faculties have PhD degrees and we'll experienced except some and teaching will be good. Only 1 mid and sem exam per semester and it was easy to pass and you could score well as well if you wrote well.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester students are eligible for placements and students get a different range of packages as per their skills. Almost all will be placed in good companies unless you don't have any knowledge about your study. Different students have different plans such as some opt for placements and some opt for higher studies and some for entrepreneurship, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you got a seat in the government quota then it was nice since you need to pay only 70k else the cost of course is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. On-campus placements are nice and your placement is taken care of by the placement department and you will give your interviews in the main campus Chennai.

Campus Life

Two annual fests occur on campus one is ALOHA and the other is a cultural fest. Apart from these too many programs take place such as festivals, DJ nights, etc. The library is big and you can find many books and journals apart from education, you can also read many comics or different books as well Classrooms are fully Airconditioned and digital where you will have digital TV used for various reasons. Many clubs are there in campus sports, coding, dancing, movie club, etc. where you can take part and enjoy college life to the best.

Admission

I have taken the EAPCET exam in which I got a 4700 rank in the BCE category and I have applied for CSE at SRM UNIVERSITY since at that time SRM was the top college in Andhra Pradesh. My fee is 70k since it is a government seat generally fees for CSE are 3.5lakh.

Placement Experience:

The placements of students are managed by VIIT Training and Placement (T & P) cell, guiding the students, being supportive, conducting aptitude and coding sessions time-to-time. Students are eligible to placements from the end of 6th semester. Top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte visit regularly. Packages range from 3.5 - 10 LPA. Highest package was offered by Amazon i.e. 50 LPA, to the CSE graduate. Average package CTC ranges from 4-5 LPA. 85 % of students gets placed. My plans after the degree is not yet decided, I may secure a job or gonna opt for higher studies.

Cyber thefts etc. It's also teaches the Bitcoin and trading course especially they teach how to deal with market. The cyber security has a opportunity by entering department of police by doing tracking activities and surfing in websites and stopping cyber crimes in surrounding areas. After completing my intermediate I have applied for sastra University Thanjavur,SRM AP,VIT AP. However I couldn't get into sastra as I didn't get a CSE seat in it due to less marks and regional difference. Compared to VIT and SRM I thought SRM is better as it has better infrastructure, placements and good faculty. Students can get admission either through SRMJEEE or EAMCET . There is no cutoff rank for students through SRMJEEE. Cutoff for Students through EAMCET changes according to their caste. I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE. I mainly choose this as this is a university and also they have a high percentage of placements for students in the university.
