Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In the b.tech course, we get technical knowledge as well as an attractive package and because of this, I choose the b.tech course. At PSIT, there are about 400 faculty members and 150 lab assistants PSIT's total students of all the years is about 7000. In psit maximum teachers are Ph.D. holders and some are post-graduated from M.Tech. There are three types of exams are conducted in one semester. 1. Assignment test. 2. Class test. 3. Preuniversity test.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 180300 per year

Internships Opportunities

Atlassian company gave the internship in 2023 to 3 students at the stipend of 125000/month. we made the project facial recognition system, a clone of Spotify and Amazon. on making these projects we get knowledge as well as selected for the internship.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, tcs Wipro, Atlassian, Flipkart, etc. are the companies that visit the campus for placement. the highest package is 38 lac and the minimum is 5 lac about 80 % get selected. I will work in any good product-based company.

Fees and Financial Aid

In b.tech (computer science) the fee is 180300 and we have to pay this whole amount at one time at the start of the year. we get scholarships from the university aktu, or from the state government. here we also get some funds and prizes for making a good project. here you can get a job stipend of up to 32 lakhs.

Campus Life

3.5

In psit Ignatia is organized as an annual fest and an apticon-type tech fest is also organized in the month of February. There are a number of books on all subjects and of different authors available in the psit library. In psit classrooms are equipped with AC, internet as well and a projector. Basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, athletics, and open gym activities are the sports and extracurricular activities organized on the campus. Psit's official YouTube channel is run by the students.

Admission

In written exams, questions are asked from the subjects English and math only question level is of 10th and 12th class. basic questions are asked. we find this application form, fees, and dates from the site www.psit.ac.in.

Interview Experience

3.5

Gd topics can be current affairs, social economic conditions, etc. There are two criteria for taking admission: 1. By Counselling 2. By management quota. we can prepare from the 10th and 12th class books to qualify for the exam.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I failed to score good marks in JEE advanced or else i would've enrolled in some iit. The college does try to match its pace with tier 1 colleges but there's a lot more to be done.
