- My education in SRM University-AP is very memorable for me. Really i am benefited by studying in this University. Mostly i like the indoor games and competitions conducted here. Really there are good and skilled students will difinitely get succeeded

- There are some things to get disappointed but anyhow we need to adjust for some things to get some things done.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a CSE department student. I chose this course because of my interest in doing coding and related jobs that I could get for completing my course. It is a better opportunity to study in this SRM University-AP because the faculty here are highly experienced professors and assistant professors.They are well educated and having skills that a faculty need or required to make a student succeed in his life. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10.Thue is a good ratio. The faculty follows a particular curriculum through out the semester. One more thing is every semester the faculty will be changed to the students. When we talk about semester exams these are conducted for every 4 months including a mid exam after 2 months. There is a relative grading process in giving the results of the exam so that there is no worries about the remaining section students and differing faculties teachings.
Internships Opportunities
When we talk about the interships. The university provides many Opportunities for students ,it brings different companies to give interships for students and to make them trained through these interships. And if the companies like the projects they will provide stipend based on projects and certificates which are most useful in building our resume for getting a job.
Placement Experience
In this University many students have got placements from different reputed companies. Students from 6th semester are eligible to go for placements and they need to have a cgpa of 8.5 and above. The highest package offered is 50 lakhs upto now of my information. The average package is around 9-10 lakhs. It is a good figure. 80 percent of students will be getting there jobs in placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
When we come to fee structure in this University, it is different for different students that means if they came through SRMJEE entrance test there fee will be based on their rank .If u got a direct seat or through management then the fee may be around 4-5 lakhs including all like mess ,laundry,etc.For an eapcet student the fee will be 70,000 and that will be paid by the government of andrapradesh if the student is from backward caste.So there will be hostel fees to EAPCET students around 120000 and some extra fees for laundry and exam fees. If the students are eligible for schlorship through any other the University will accept the schlorship also. After completing the course the University will take the students for placements and many of them have got jobs in different companies.
Campus Life
In the campus there are many clubs like indoor sports, outdoor sports, singing ,dancing, and many other so that students can join their interested clubs. The university also conducts tournaments In a particular internlvals of time. There is a instagram page for student council and all the updates will be given there it is purely students page and it is official.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good. Every student will be provided with a cot and a wardrobe with key. Study tables are also provided for each and every student. The meals are also good but not much better . The only concern is there will be students from different parts of the country so some students may like or dislike the items. And the menu will be changed accordingly after every 3 months. Some times we need to adjust. Hot water also be provided for all the students through out the year. There are also some A.C rooms fir students who opted for A.C while booking hostel rooms. Hostel fees will be based on sharing. That means less number if students in a room means more fees . I opted a 5 sharing room which costs 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees.
Admission
As we all know that SRM University is a very popular University in south India. Getting a seat or admission in this University is from two main entrance exams(particularly for SRM University- Amaravati). One can get a seat through SRMJEE entrance test and another through APEAPCET which is state level entrance test conducted only in Andhra Pradesh. If we want get an admission through APEAPCET we need to qualify in it and should secure rank in the range of 1 to 5k in 1st councilling and in 2n councilling may be around 8 to 9k this is only to get a seat for CSE course. If we want to get through SRMJEE minimum rank should be below 12k in SRMJEE. Applications for writing these SRMJEE can be filled in online or by visiting the campus. There will be some fee for the exam.
