Course Curriculum Overview

Cost curriculum of Chandigarh University is quite good. They change their syllabus on the regular basis year by year. Also, the faculty members are also well educated and their teaching method is also quite good and interactive. The exams are held timely by timely , after a short period of time. It is not difficulty to pass the exam. One who will prepare for the exam will definitely pass with good grades.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In Chandigarh University, there are two ways for the scholarship one is on the basis of 12th marks and other is on the basis of CUCET entrance exam. In Chandigarh University, specially for the computer science and engineering (CSE) the annual fees of this course without scholarship is 240000 only.University also provide financial assistance for the students who are not able to pay the course fee. In Chandigarh University, we have a lot of campus placement opportunities many companies come here for the on campus placements.

Campus Life

The life at campus is very quite different as expected.I really enjoy here. Chandigarh University organise the fest regularly after short period of time. Libraries are also quite good . We can get any book of any subject from the libraries. And if any book is not available we can give suggestions and report to the library manager and they will avail the book after short period of time. In Chandigarh University, there are many clubs ,social clubs etc in which we can join and enhance our personality . In Chandigarh University there is lot of opportunity in the sports field if you are good in any sports you can go ahead and Chandigarh University will support you for the University, state, national level and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Facility in Chandigarh University also very good. They provide one study table one bed one almirah and in the room there are fans, colling duct and balcony. The mess quality and mess menu is medium. Sometime they make very good meal and sometime they make very bad meal. Registration process of hostle is very easy. You can Register your hostel from CU official website. if you wanna take PG or any flat they are many sites to take it for example you can take it at Kharar, Omega city and and many more there are many sites where you can take flat or you can take PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I came to know about Chandigarh University. It is a very good University having a good academic records and quite good placement .The eligibility of the CSE course in Chandigarh University is minimum 60% in 12th boards . I gave CUCET entrance exam for the admission . The application form and the fees details and the date of application are available on the CU website . The Chandigarh University faculty is quite helpful for the admission process, they help me during the admission. They stand with me in every single process. I will give you a suggestion that please refer to a Chandigarh University faculty for the admission process and please don't do the admission process.I think that Chandigarh University is very quite good in the admission process and in that there is no need of any improvement. Thankyou.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
