- Campus area is good very well managed and also frequent organisation of events and concerts
- Faculty is of young age group so it Is easy to communicate with them.
- Placement is decent and the person who tries well will definitely succeed.
Dislikes
- Very strict attendence criteria in case anyone has even 74.9 percent he will be debarred
- There is very less transparency in marking system and written exams.
- Some times placement results seems to be inflated.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically reason for taking this course was it was providing a decent placement also I can see more career growth in it Faculty to student ratio would be around 60 to 5 which is good but most of faculty members are not experienced and PhD optees. Qualification is they may ne PHD holders and teaching method varies person to person some are very well but some seems to be inexperienced There are two mid sems and on end term exam but mostly paper is easy to pass
Internships Opportunities
There are internship opportunities in many companies and stipend varries from 10k to 15k and mostly role offered is of junior soft ware devloper Projects could be related to web 3 or mostly related to web pr Android devlopment.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement but only TPP batch optees are eligible By far highest package offered on campus was 74 lpa something from Microsoft Above 95% of students get placement My plan is to prepare for armed forces.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fees hike as such but examination fee varies and the fees of first sem is carried till the last sem. In between for placement there is a seprate batch known as TPP we need to enroll in it it's fees is 10000 rupees Scholarship varies some on basis of reservation some on University exams and sports and defence quota but to continue scholarship criteria is to have 7.5 + cgpa and no backlogs
Campus Life
To many cultural fests are there also hackathons and technical fest are very frequent. Class rooms are good properly equipped but ther e must be wifi connectivity for students too Sports events are also very frequent but events for individual sports like wrestling athletics are rare There are not many clubs run by student or I am not aware of them
Admission
Elegiblity ocriteria was very normal it was either given on basis of class 12 th marks or jee percentile but whosoever applied would get admission easily in college Other than that there was an scholarship exam conducted named cucet from which student can avail upto 100% scholarship Other than that there are many reservation benifits sc/st student of Himachal Punjab and Haryana can get 100% scholarship and also there is scholarship for foreign students. Improvent in admission process they should make it more transparent like merit lists and all also quality of admission intake of students should be limited
