Course Curriculum Overview
I am always interested in coding. That's why i have choosen btech cse. The ratio of faculty is high in university like there are some teachers who are given only one or two classes and the rest of the day they are sitting in their faculty rooms. Also some of the faculty do not teach properly in the lectures. The ratio of students per class is moderate. Two msts are held per semester. And the level of the paper is not so difficult. Also the final examination or the semester examination is also not so difficult. Most of the questions come from ppts.
Internships Opportunities
As i am in my 1st year and first semester, I dont know much about this field. A student can get interenship from 3rd or 2nd year. But the packages offererd are not so good. For intership, one should have their own project or rearch paper.
Placement Experience
The university provide placemets to the students but the pacakges are low. And only a few students get the on campus placements. And the other opt for off campus placements. So, the chances of placements in the university is low. A students of 3rd year will start getting interships.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fees is high. For my course, the per semester fees is 120000, means two lakhs 40 thousand per year. Students also have to pay their hostel or pg or flat payments. So the overall expernce per year is very high. But the university also provide schlorship. For that the student have to score good marks in the enterence exam. On the basis of score, schlorships are given to the students. To continue the schlorship the student have to maintain 7.5 cgpa per year. University also provide on campus placements. But the packages are not so good. Only a few students get on campus placements and the rest of the students opt for off campus.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. A lot of events are held in the university. Many sports events, workshops and extra carricular activities are also held. There are a lot of clubs in which you can participate accounding to your interest. If we talk about the library, all type of books and journels are available. Although our classrooms are not so good. We feel a lot of suffocation in summers in the classrooms. Only fans are available and the speed of the fans is very slow. The projector of my class do not even work.
Hostel Facilities
The life at hostel is worst. The food of mess is so bad. In winters, the gysers do not work properly. Some months before, the water at the hostel has bad smell and taste and no action has been taken against it for 2-3 weeks.
Admission
The process was not so difficult. All the application forms and fees are submitted online. The eligibilty for btech cse is above 50% in 12th standard. The application form, application fees, and application dates, and all the other details were available online on the official website of the university. The university also conducts an enterence exam on the basis of which schlorships are given to the students who score good.
