Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very productive and beneficial for the students and all the faculty members are very helpful. i chose this course because i am very enthusiastic towards science and i want to do something big for my country. The faculty:student ratio is justified also. For every 35 students there is one faculty. All the faculties are highly qualified and their teaching method is also very good. The exam were nicely timed to give students sufficient time to prepare and the exams were in moderate level so it was not very difficult to pass the exams once you have prepared well for the exams.
Internships Opportunities
There is really very good internship opportunites in chandigarh university. Many big and reputed companies offer intership opportunities to the students that are worthy of it like autodesk, capgemini and others. They take qualifying tests anf the students who excel those tests gets exciting opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of Chandigarh Univeristy is quite low as compared to other private colleges. In this university, you have to maintain 7.5cgpa and 75% attendance, only then your scholarship will be retained alll 4 years. There are many competitions in this university , by participating and performing in them , you can get financial assistance.
Campus Life
The life at Chandigarh University is quite peaceful and evergreen. The whole infrastructure is well maintained to ensure smooth working of the facilities. There are many fests like CU fest, winning camp. Every type of books are available in the main library of cu campus. there is sports complex where all the necessary facilities are provided for sports. Some social groups that are run by the students here like "coding club" , "Cu informations" that are made for the students and run by the senior students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good in chandigarh University. All rooms are well maintained and cleaned.Ther are pest control, cleaning services done in the hostels. The quality of mess food is average. The registration for hostel and to check its affordability can be checked on the official cu website. Ther is kharar market near cu where a room or pg can be easily available for renting.
Admission
The admission process was a very important part of my academic path. I had to make sure that i passed the qualifying entrance exam that is CUCET with a minimal percentage because that was usually one of the requirements for admission in to the computer science branch. I took the undergraduate course bachelor of engineering in computer science and engineering ,this course is of 4 years. To apply , i visited the university official wesite cuchd.in where i found all the relevant information including the application form, application fees, and application deadlines. The application was easily accessible online and the process was user friendly. Chandigarh University follows a transparent admission process and if there is any reservation benefits, it was provided in the official prospectus. while i personally didn't face any challenges during the admission process , an improvement could be made by incorporating more interactive sessions or webinars to guide the prospective students.
