Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course for exploring the robotics and machines which work with software. It has a good scope for the future too. If I come to the student ratio it is 15:1. I don't know qualifications of each and every staff, though there are lecturers with Masters and PHDs who teach us. And their teaching method is quite fine. There are couple of mid semester exams in first 2 months with a month gap in between. Exams are not that difficult to pass if you are an average student.

Internships Opportunities

3

I've just completed my 5th semester, as of now I didn't get any internship oppurtunites from college. After completing 3rd year we may get intership offers from the college. We have to do intership in summer terms from anywhere.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are offered by the university. I'm thinking for a job after the studies. After completing 5th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. As I've just completed my 5th semester, there are no companies visited for our batch for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester fees is 88500 and after writing a scholorship exam conducted by the university, I got 50% scholorship on academic fees. And there are no extra scholorships from any sources. As I am in 3rd year, placements hasn't started for us.

Campus Life

4

Culturul events are regularly conducted in the university. For us there is a CU fest which will be conducted in the month of march or april. There are events like Tashan Nights held once or twice in a semester. Books for academic pupose are mostly available in the library. Electricity is available all the time but don't have any internet resources and there will be network issues with mobile data. Clean and chilled water is provided in academic blocks. If students are interested, they can join any kind sports and cultural events. There are no social groups or clubs which are run by students but there is a department called DSW (Department of Student Welfare) for student affairs.

Hostel Facilities

4

I live in hostel Zair-B. In hostel, they provided a room for 5 students although students per room is dependent on the hostel fees. Food is fine enough but I face some issues regarding the taste, although quality is good. Hostel fees for room with 5 roomamtes is 89000 in 2022 june for new students. Registration process is a bit time taking.

Admission

There is no eligibilities required for the course other than the 12th or Diploma, although I had written an exam for scholorship. I got to know about the university through my friend who was studying in the same university. He gave me the contact details of the university. I didn't face any problems while taking the admission, so I don't think any imporvements are needed in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
