What Students Say

Likes

In NIET , teachers are very supportive and they tries to help each student .
The college didn't have any dress code unlike the neighbouring colleges . So it is very good for the students in which they can develop their own dressing sense . That helps to improve personality.
The classes in workshop mode that is provided by the college is quite helpful for becoming familiar with the new skills.

Dislikes

The only thing that i dislike the most is the 75% attendance criteria and it is 85% in first year. And without fulfilling the attendance criteria students are not be allowed to sit in exams .
In this college, their is very few fests or cultural events are organized. And they didn't even organized the fresher party for my batch i.e. 2022-26

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The end semester examination is conducted in 4 to 5 months of duration. The exams are easy to pass but it's somewhat difficult to score good Because checking is not very lenient . But if anyone studies continuously throughout the semester then surely he scores well.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 150750 per year

Placement Experience

After graduation my first plan is to secure a good on campus placement that is related to my domain that is Computer Science domain. And wanted to explore in that field. For that currently i am working on my tech skills like programming.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers Tuition fee waiver seats. And these seats have separate cutoff in UPTAC councelling (generally high) . In which they waived the tuition fee of the particular course. Also other scholarships is given by the UP Government in which the students get scholarship who fulfilled the given criteria as made by the government by filling the separate form for that.

Campus Life

Their are various clubs or social groups in NIET that are managed by students some of them are JUVENTAS(Dance Club) , Athletics club ,also it have technical clubs like EMERGEX. By joining these clubs the students can upskill their technical as well as cultural skills.

Admission

From previous year onwards the admission process was done by the UPTAC councelling by jee main scorecard . So the process of admission becomes smooth. And the councelling is best process . So that is fine .

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
