Should you give 4 years at NIET ?

I chose this course because it was the only course available at that time. Faculty is good in 1st year but subsequently quality of faculty deteriorates. Qualification of faculty is as per University standards, but you may also find some faculty there who've done m.tech from the same institute and eventually became faculty there. Exams used to happen every semester, also there were regular monthly tests one was required to pass.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. TCS, Sahara, HCl, and other IT companies come. Very few core competencies come. Even the core company students sit in its companies to get the placement. I remember the Highest package was 800000 per annum to a Mba girl for Sahara. The average package is 400000 around. One important point is that most companies visiting are not good companies. I mean they don't even have a proper office. So on board, they show like 90% placement or so but very few people can make it to good companies. I got a degree and got placed in an electrical company, I was posted in Indore but later I came to know there was no company office in Indore and they were just giving us some nonelectrical work. It was a scam.

When I joined in 1st year fee was 80000/semester but when I left I saw it became close to 1lac /semester. The fee hike policy is as per University standards. College cannot hike the fee on its own. Scholarship and financial assistance are provided to those who have a good ranking in the IIT exam.

Yes, the annual fest and tech fest happen regularly. Also, cultural events happen. There's also a library from where one can issue books for a fixed time. Amenities in the classroom are basic with a bench and fan. No AC. Sports events happen. One can participate in them. No official social group as such.

I lived in a hostel for 3 years. There are 3 seater and 2 seater. Mattress, almirah, and chair are provided. Badsheet you've to carry. Meal at mess is average with not so much spices used. There's also a sweet dish on the menu sometimes. You get 4 meals in a day with 2 full unlimited meals at lunch and dinner. Registration is done by the hostel warden. One can fill out the form for room allotment and request for preference of room and partner.

Eligibility was neet exam or good marks in 12th in PCM. Also, there are management seats. Online or you can visit the campus to find the application form. As per University (aktu Lucknow) laws one can avail reservation benefits.
