Remarks
the campus is good, but we are not allowed to go out of the campus during college hours not even during the lunch break, the college is a bit strict regarding the academics stuff, rest everything is fine, faculties are also good and they encourage the students in their activities.
Entrance Preview
I wrote 1 entrance exam that is Karnataka common entrance test for joining this college ,till now I had good environment in this college and even told my friends this college is good.so I choosed this college in my cet process and got seat in this college,no interview only counseling process done by KCET for getting seats in college,I was interested in circults and communications so this made me to choose electronics and communication engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and communication course is really have good subjects,even now syllabus is updated by VTU,in this course we learn about electronics circuits ,wireless communications,power electronics…etc,more course outcome is available in this course,yes we have labs for practical learning,as I am new to college,I don’t know about research initiative.
Internships Opportunities
No idea about internship,still a fresher,but my senior told they can provide us internship,and he told that they will notice soon from vtu for doing internship,so I don’t experience about internship,nor about stipend amount.
Placement Experience
As I am fresher I don’t know much about placements,I asked my senior,my seniors told 60% of students use to get placed,and companies like Infosys,oracle,sap visited here for placements,and he told before we go for placement our basic knowledge about the course should be strong enough to get place.
College Events
there is a yearly fests happening in our college where the management supports the students and spends well for the college fests we have various technical and the cultural fests happening in the college and it's always nice to be a part of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For me my fees was affordable,as I got seat in kcet,I paid a amount of 56,000 INR for getting seat in this college ,after that I paid a college fees of around 26,000 INR for 2 semester,included lab expenses,Till now I got good facility,but management students have to pay more fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
yes college provides scholarship for the backward students and the SC,ST and other caste students and even the meritious students also receive scholarships.
Campus Life
our college provides opportunities for the students to excel both academically and through the overall development also, the college supports the students in their projects sometimes the funding is also provided by the college for the good projects.
Hostel Facilities
i don't stay in hostel so i dont have much idea regarding the hostel, heard that the rooms are large, enough space is there for 4 sharing people and the food is not up to the mark.
Alumni/Alumna
yes there is a alumni network in the college, once a year we have the program cum gathering along with our seniors, yes the alumni help us in the overall development of the college as well as the students.
Exam Structure
Till now I have not experienced how will be exams,still in 1st semester and but we had tests,so test conducted were easy and fine,even labs were interesting,so it was a chill culture.
Faculty
I don’t know about their qualification and experience,just few months ago joined this college,till now teachers had good knowledge,behaved friendly with all the students, teachers use to teach us with an interest,and even we use listen with interest,they were interactive with all,till now for standard of teaching were best.
