I haven't written any entrance exam. I got admission by merit.I had physical fitness examination before admission.My ambition is to become a doctor.
The course I chose is very nice. I am very much focussed on my practical learning. Yes,this college has many research initiatives(mainly cytogenetics).
Yes the college provide internship. I have not experienced but I see my seniors who are doing internship which is good. Average stipend is about 12,000-13000 rupees.
We have placement but we have to write competitive exam to get placement in government college.Average package is about forty thousand rupees.
We conduct many continued medical education programs,cultural program (Synapse) and sports event in the campus. For these events many medical colleges participate in the events. The college authorities contribute for these events.

My interaction with my alumni is great.The college provide a proper platform for student-alumni interaction.Yes the alumni contribute in the overall development of the college as well as the students.
The exams and labs are not frequent and doesn't me feel tired at the end of the day.Yes it is a chill culture.
The faculties working here are well qualified and experienced.They are very much interactive with students.The standard of teaching is great.
NEET examination is to be taken by the students. On the basis of score received in NEET examination, admission of the students will take place. Though 12th grade examination marks will also be taken into notice. All the important documents need to be produced.
As mentioned earlier, the Institute provides rotational internships which is mandatory for all the students. It's a part of the course. Overall experience of the internships are tremendously helpful and packages provided are really high.
I visited the official portal of Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tamil Nadu and registered for the Tamil Nadu NEET. I was selected according to the NEET Tamil Nadu Counselling Procedure which included examining my Scorecard and allotting seat according to that.
The college provides its students with a lot of medical practice and experience which makes them efficient. Also, the ESIC Hospital gives practical training to the students making them have the experience of working in an actual hospital. Thus, such trained and qualified students easily get jobs and placements with a high stipend also because it is a government college.
The college offers admission into its MBBS program based on NEET rankings. NEET cut-off refers to the minimum rank that candidates are required to secure in NEET to be eligible for admission into the college. NEET cut-off score of individual medical colleges is released after publication of NEET Results. I scored 595 in NEET and was able to get into this colege.
Placement is certifiably not a legitimate word for dental understudies. Dentistry is where we make our own chances, if u can work hard,and you have a passage measure of working brain,you can generally win the race. The college furnishes entry level position with month to month stipend around 10,000. Temporary position is exceptionally useful for the lesser specialists for their placement test arrangement. They need to do some clinicals in entry level position.
Best medical college in tamilnadu with best faculties and best infrastructure with very good job facilities.Hostel is also good.Transportation is very easy since it is situated just opposite to Dr.MGR central railway station
This college has several medical departments and it provide tertiary health care.It is patient friendly. This college is a new college just 15 years old but the development of this college is very fast. Now a new department Geriatrics has also started. The overall experience is good.
Positives first:- 1)excellent teaching 2)beautiful campus. Pretty well maintained. Negatives:- 1) orthodox people 2) hostel mess food sucks. ( rice sambhar rasam and vadas mostly. Pretty monotonous food and for someone who is not from south India it sucks. 3) college canteen is ridiculously small It only serves biscuits, coffee ( no tea) Some shitty packed juice which doesn’t taste that good 4) the canteen only serves rice biryani dosa samosa coffee and bakery items and has very very limited options. 5) we are fined for everything. From coming late to forgetting id cards or not wearing uniforms.
Infrastructure is a little bit not good. Dog prevalence is more. They are not taking any emergency and trauma cases in
As it is a medical college, there is nothing like placements here .although many faculties who wish to continue in the same college as lecturers or professors are welcomed with an entrance exam.
The course curriculum is as prescribed by the board handling medical colleges in India. Talking about the medical field it was always about practicals so it is good in that too.
In all honesty to college is ok you don't have a social life if you are here to just study and only study and give up all of your college life than this colleges for you. you will have no interactions with any senior or make good friends that you might keep later on also a very straight forward and only concentrate about education.
College Entrance exam. I love to help people. I was not able to get through to medicine in aipmt. In state medical counselling I got bachelor of dental surgery.
In my college we did not have any placement or campus. Many of my friends started ventures of their own. Some joined in reputed hospitals in Chennai. And some like me started to prepare for specialties.
