Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because it is provided by one of the best private colleges in Delhi NCR and the placements are okayish too. The student ratio is 2:1. Qualification of the faculty is PHD , MTech+ and their teaching methods is fine too. The exams happens usually once in two months and three in a whole semester. They werent that difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Some big companies like Google, Amazon , Nescafe , Tech mahindra , tcs , delloite , Goldman Siemmans , Intuit , Adobe , Microsoft for roles like Software Development Engineer, Circuit Designer , Consultant. They usually have their own tests and coding rounds for internships.

Placement Experience

3

Campus Placements are fine. Students when they enter there 7th semester they become eligible for campus placements. The companies that have visited for placements are Linkedin, Atlassian , Microsoft , Adobe etc. Most of the students are usually placed by the end of the placement time. The highest packaged offered last year was 60 Lakh/yr , average package was 11.7 Lakh/ yr. Around 99% of students are usually placed. I plan of doing a job after I get my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is still fine in comparison to other private colleges considering the amount of facilities and oppurtunities they are providing. The crowd here is pretty good too. Last year the highest package was from linkedin that was of Rs 60 Lakhs. So the placements are pretty good and many companies come for internships too.

Campus Life

4

The Campus Life is okayish. Many different events are usually happening in the colleges . We also had our Annual fest last year and we're planning to soon have it again in the month of February. Many books and journals are there in the library. Classrooms has smart boards and projectors and accompanied with Full AC. Sports and extra curricular Activities are good too. Jaypee youth Club is a social group which controls all the clubs of college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel Room is a 2 sharing room, there is enough space for both the roommates and room has centralised AC which usually works in the summers. Meal in the mess is good atleast better than other colleges. Registration process for the hostel is done during the time of admission and we have to pay online fees. There are usually rooms available for students.

Admission

The Admission process happened in two phases , I applied online and then they called me for counselling offline, the counselling happened in two phases i.e. through Jee mains and Boards. I applied through boards and got CSE after few rounds of upgradations.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because the college was in south and I didnt want to apply for south colleges

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
