Because I want to be a good engineer and I want to get a good job from this course.faculty was good and higer level education facilities.quality of teaching was so good and helpful for students.hardwork is the importance for the pass the examination.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The merit students should be paid 35000/- and management student should paid 65000/- and nri students pay more than 1 lakh+ .there are more scholarship are available for students like egrantz for reservation category and mcm scholarship for OBC students income less than 1.5lakhs

Campus Life

"luxthon" is the recent program conducted in our college.its a tech fest and it's very helpful for students make skills.we have planned on August conduct the annual fest.the library was big and good seating arrangement for students for reading books and all categories of books are available in our library.footall, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, are the sports activities in our college.NSS(NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME) and natural club are the social group students followed up. We have conducted a nss camp in this month 25th.

Admission

Eligibilty of the course was the plus 2 exam. Minimum 75% of mark in physics , chemistry and maths.We can find application form from keam entrance site.Reservations students have fee concession and every month gets stipend.Admission process should be properly done with carefulness.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities
provide internet facilities like wifi and average classrooms

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Placement Experience:

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
