What Students Say

Likes

Course Structure is really good and worth it, it's not based on old pattern.
Faculty are highly qualified and behaviour is also good.
Attendance criteria is also good you have to maintain 75 % in any case

Dislikes

Work load is too much , and they give loads of assignments.
No time for your self they'll give you so much of work that you'll not be able to explore your skills in first year at least.
Campus area is too small and infrastructure is actually not good and doesn't justify the high fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Computer Science is booming stream for future, I recommend to choose IT sector related branch from this college. Faculty should me more improved , but they are well qualified but some have lack of experience of teaching otherwise good. There will 2 semester exam and 6 mid semester exams plus regular weekly basis class test.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 174000 per year

Placement Experience

From third year students become eligible to avail internship and campus placements. Companies that visit are Amazon, TCS , Infosys, Microsoft,etc... No. of offer are decent. There are about 80-90 % students are placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very high according to infrastructure and facilities they provide, college doesn't justify it fees. You can avail scholarship From UP government or Central Government. There is no scholarship from college side .

Campus Life

2.5

There are very less fest conducted annual. One of the fest is conducted around Diwali period is Jagmag. Books Library is versatile. Classroom are ok but not good as you expect according to fees they charge. Clubs run by Students are Kathputliya and Khushiyan baaton club and many more... But you can take part in club from second year onwards.

Admission

Eligibility 12 Pass with 60% or above or via jee mains UPTU Councelling . Application form can be filled online during the admission open period. There should be improvement in admission process, because somethimes they don't call back.

Interview Experience

Yeah, they conduct Group discussion and Interviews practice very frequently. Generally the topics for GDs are socially related and and problem solving related. There wasn't any specific interview for admission, they'll just check up on your score card and documents and they'll admit you after submission of fees. No specific preparation is required.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
