What Students Say

Likes

Academics of the colleges and the faculty of NIET.
The environment of the college is really nice and competitive.
The college is very well disciplined and supportive.

Dislikes

Campus size is too small and no college life you can enjoy here
No extra curricular activities in this college
No sports and annual fest are performed in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was very much interested in hacking. The student teacher ratio is about 1:15.The faculty are awesome and very helpful. The college takes exams every week so that students have great command on their subjects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 176000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Student can sit for placement from 4 th year. There are various companies like Infosys Accenture Capgemini Wipro etc.The highest placement this year is 51 lakh and average is nearly 4-5 LPA.90 percent of the students get placed .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is costly as compared to other colleges. There is no scholarship for cyber security branch in this college. It is one of the major issue of this branch. The college provides opportunities for internships.

Campus Life

2.5

There is no college life for first year. It is like a school and even more strict than it. Library is present in the first year campus . Classroom are good and comfortable. No sports and extra curricular activities in first year campus. They only focus on studies and attendance. There are various clubs in this college but for 2 nd years .

Admission

You can easily get this college through aktu counseling or direct admission. You can find its application form easily on the official website of NIET.There are reservation for students in this college .

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
