Course Curriculum Overview

This institution is an institute of national importance and hence offer a lot to the new departments. My main reason to join this college is because I have a keen interest in law and data science and in my clat rank which is 4.5k . I don't had any other this kuch better option.Faculty of the department of law are decent and experienced. The course comprises 2to 3 law subjects and 2 data subject later after 3yrs all subjects becomes law specified and centralised.The pattern of exam is pretty simple,we have three internal exams namely CA-1,2,3 and then a final exam. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is high as usually for the law department in comparison to the other govt. courses. One can avail the scholarship based on the marks in different examination by the private sector companies or can avail state based assistance,since the institution is registered under their schemes. The fees hike is around 5-10k in every two year.

Campus Life

Single NFSU has a small campus we did not have hostels for in campus for all the students,we have mou with different governmental and non governmental hostel where we have accommodation facilities.liabrary is decent and have different authority who monthly update the books lists in the library whenever we demand such types of books.Law department have diffrent clubs like probono club,legal assistance club, sports and cultural committee, literary and debate society etc. Classroom are very well equipped and furnished.

Admission

I got to know about this University through a friend of mine and he told that they enroll and select students on the basis of their clat(common law admission test) ranks. For the eligibility you must have to 12th passout either with maths or science and have given clat examination

Placement Experience:

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

A perfect place to study and grow

Remarks:

College timings are morning. Lecturer/professor starts it's teaching sharp 7:30 am. No students allowed after 7:45 for first lectut. 8:35 there is another lecture and 9:45 there is third lecture. After that practical and research related works are there till 1 pm. Infrastructure is good. Environment is good. Staff is supportive. It add value in knowledge. Crowd is fine as students from good college mostly take admission here. Parking facilities are also there. Canteen is there. Principal is also friendly. Girls safety is also there.

The candidates scoring a minimum of 50% in their +2 exam from any recognized university are applicable for filling the form. The admission is done purely on basis of merit as per the percentage in the 12th exams. I scored 86% and got my name in the top 5 of the merit list.

Remarks:

The college externally is green, big and beautiful. Internally, the facilities are good and decent. The management is well though it needs to be improved. The environment is healthy. The college needs on work on placement cell.

Remarks:

The college offers courses in Law fraternity in both English as well as regional language. Therefore students from regional language base can also easily understand the lectures delivered. The faculties being supportive can mentor in various feilds.

NFSU GOA REVIEW

This is the only college I found good because there is just 8 NFSU in India and just 6 campuses have BSc MSc integrated course so i found this college good and it is a central government college and it is the only forensic science university found in india where ministry of home affairs are interlinked. I applied to my nearest home town college i was selected there to but the NFSU result cam late due to which i was studying for 3 weeks and then i cracked the NFAT test after which i was admitted to NFSU. There is an Exam NFAT which we need to crack after which we are held at the counselling part which is done in online mode after which you have to pay the amount within 24 hours of counselling session if you cannot pay the required fee your admission is being cancelled and then the another person gets the chance to get admission....Read More
