Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course because in today's world computer science is ruling over everything else and I have always been into B.Tech, so yeah. There is 1 professor in theory lecture of 55-60 students, while in lab one professor is head and they have couple of assistants there. The teaching method is not that good because most of the time teachers are just reading the slides they projected on screen. In each semester of 6 months we have one final test and 2 in between the sem. It is quite difficult to pass if you don't focus in lectures but if you put some efforts it won't be that hard.

Internships Opportunities

4

Although I don't have much idea about internship, I have heard college provide everyone internship wheather they are pain or unpaid. Seniors are doing lot of technical projects which are being supported by university too

Placement Experience

3

From 3rd year you are eligible of placements. Highest has been approx 74 laks and average would be 8 laks. Only 60 percent i guess. I would be persuading higher studies why doing some part time job, is what I think will be my future plans.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is way too much in my opinion because in the end there are lot of graduates who don't even get placements and I think they should increase the quality of service if they are asking for this much fees. I didn't got any scholarship or financial assistance from here.

Campus Life

4.5

VITOPIA is the main fest here, it actually is pretty good and that invite north india artists too, aside from telegu speaking artist. Apart from VITOPIA they have tech fest like VITAPP too and many more. Books you'll get most of them. Tou can also get magazines too. Classroom size are fine but without AC it is very hard in summer here. There are lots of sports played, although I hope they start focusing on women sports too. There are some clubs which are runned by students only.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

In rooms, you'll get one almirah and one shelf, with that you get one study table and one plastic chair and one bed without mattress. Meal quality is fine, sometimes the food is very good but other days it can be bad too, menu is vast and you'll get from different states. Registration for hostel is first come first get policy so you should select your hostel as soon as you can. I have no idea about PG but I heard they are pretty cheap as compared to hostel fees.

Admission

The eligibility of the course we're to be passed in 12 standard with more than 60 percent and clearance of their own exam VITEEE. You can find all the details regarding application form, fees, dates on the official website. I don't think I have heard of any reservation benifits in here, although they give relaxation to the students from Andhra Pradesh as State quota. Yes, I want them to work on the quality of professor they are providing, and it would be great if teachers are not biased toward telegu speaking people and treat all students equally.

Other Applied Colleges

Manipal Institute of Technology - [MIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I have heard a lot from people that the environment there I very uncultured as compared to VIT AP. And lot of substance intake and liquor intake has been practiced in Manipal University

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very good. We have excellent training placement cell. The faculty of the placement cell are very supportive and friendly with the students. They use their network to bring the reputated companies to the campus. The maintain the well bond with the companies. around 90% of the students are placed every year from every branch. Remaing 10% students are may be with blocks or any some other reasons. If the student doesnot get any placement in the campus, the campus offers the some jobs to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well-structured and covers all the important core subjects with useful practical labs. It is relevant for both industry and higher studies. Exams are conducted on time and are moderately easy. Adding more industry-oriented workshops and updated tools would make it even better. Overall, the course is clear, relevant, and helpful for future growth.
