Life of a student at VIT-AP

I choosen this CSE course because of my passion to learn about computer and technology.This course consists of 8 semesters,each semester consists of credits system.A btech student in VIT must have to complete 160 credits within 8 semesters.This BTECH CSE consists of various technical languages like JAVA,PYTHON,machine learning,C,C++ and many more with its applicative system subjects.There is more flexibility in VIT schedule and system of curriculum.The faculty in VIT are people who completed their PhD in their respective specific subjects from top most institutions of the world. For each 80 students,there is a proffesor.These proffesors and very good enough for explaining the concepts of computers.The exam system in the VIT is like it consists of every semester,they are CAT-1,CAT-2 and FAT.CAT-1 and CAT-2 are the mid term exam of the semester and FAT are the finals of the semester.CATs are conducted for 50 marks and FAT for 60 marks.

In 3rd year semester 1 and semester 2 we get the internships based on the skills and GPA we have at that time.Companies we get from intership like Google , Deloitte ,HP , Bosch and many other top notch companies.

From 3rd year 2nd semester,students are eligible for placement and the students get trained by the placement training companies which were collaborated with VIT .Based on the GPA criteria,the placements can be done. 100+ companies comes for VIT placements In which every students gets placed in the companies except those who have backlogs and arrears.Vit is famous for placements,95% placement rating present

The fees structure is based on the rank we get in the VITEEE exam. There are 5 categories based on the rank we get. Based on the VITEEE top 20-30 ranks there will be scholarships and the fees consessions. So that this is the fee procedure of VIT

Every year,there will be 2 biggest fests called as "VTAPP" and "VITOPIA".One is technical event and other is cultural event.Both are the biggest event Conducted in VIT. Ususlly these events happens on every year of February.There are few events that happens for every month which was conducted by various clubs of the college.Coming to the library section,theres is a big library present in the VIT.This library is divided into parts like research part,Law part, engineering part and others.There are various clubs that run by students like CSI CHAPTER, MACHINE LEARNING CLUB,BIOSCOPE,BEAT THE HEAT(BTH) ,TELUGU ASSOCIATION AND KANNADA ASSOCIATION AND MANY MORE...

There are different kinds of rooms available in hostels,there are 4BED AC ROOMS,NON AC ROOMS,APARTMENT ROOMS AND NON AC APPARTMENT ROOMS,10-BED DORMITORY AND 12 BED DORMITORY...in mess section there is VEG MESS,NON VEG MESS AND SPECIAL MESS section.

Firstly, I applied for Viteee exam and I took the VITEEE exam.This exam is the source to get seat in VIT University for attempting this exam,student must pass his/her 12th standard.With the exam after few days we get all india rank of the exam.After 1 or 2 days we get the counselling of the college and branch based on our rank.After 1 or 2 days we get the seat allotment and category of the fee structure.I got CATEGORY 2 AT VIT AP UNIVERSITY CSE CORE.After getting into the final allotment of college and category,we get the student mail id and password to login the university Gmail account.We get seat college student portal and credintials.Before this,we need to pay advance payment of supees 10000.Aftwr paying the amount,we get the student mail id and credintials along with allotment letter.We get the hostel counselling,that counselling is about what kind of hostel we need,after selecting hostel room,we get the provisional admission letter.There is no benifit for the reservation system.
