- The seniors and fellow college mates are very helpful. Hardly any big fights or ragging occur

- The faculty quality is not upto the mark. The classes are mostly not engaging

Course Curriculum Overview
I picked the AI and ML course because I was always interested in the subject. The faculty to student ratio is good and there is enough for everyone. We are allowed to choose our own faculty. Most faculties are NIT and IIT alumnis who have completed their PhD in their respective subject. The exam difficulty varies from campus to campus. Some subjects were open book tests
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered through placements. If you do not get internship you can do a final year project instead which wil be counted into your credits. The companies offered software engineer roles and data analyst and scientist roles for interns in our college. Prestigious companies hired from our college for interns
Placement Experience
Placements in the current situation is very poor. VIT amravati is by far doing the worst in this aspect. I was lucky to get placed due to my relatively high CGPA. I plan to pursue my job for a few years then study for masters if I am not satisfied with my current job. By now just 40% of the applied students are placed as of the January 2024. The highest package offered in our campus was 25 LPA and average is about 7 to 9 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there is a small increase in both the tuition fee and hostel fee. I haven't personally taken financial assistance for myself. You are asked to pay the entire amount for an year at once, no relaxations
Campus Life
There are many clubs in the college some active, some inactive and it all depends on the president and the faculty coordinator of the club. The library has a variety of quality books. The classrooms do not have AC which can be a problem in summer. Sports and extra curriculars are mostly encouraged. A few clubs include the anime club, hackers club and competitive coding club
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is fairly liberal in its rules. But we are not allowed outside the hostel after 7. There are at the moment 5 men's hostel but a few of them are horrible so it depends on luck. The food is below average and the hygiene of the water is questionable at times. It is not worth the money
Admission
Since I was from covid batch they selected us through our 12th grade percentage. Application form and all other information can be found in the official vtop website. Normally admission in each campus is decided through VITEEE exam. Vellore campus is the hardest to crack while amravati and Bhopal are relatively easy
