- Campus life is awesome here, a lot of places to chill with friends are there in the campus.
- Hostel is also good. Rooms are in very good condition and a lot of facilities are provided in the rooms.
- Way of teaching of facilities are also good. They are very supportive and helpful.
Dislikes
- Sometimes I dont like the mess you like the gravy of every vegetable Tastes like scene and also uncooked roti sometimes.
- Attendance system is very bad. It should be at least 75%.
- Room accommodation should be of only double-sharing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum ensures that you graduate with up-to-date applicable skills by striking a balance between theoretical understanding and practical application updates regularly. If you choose to specialize IMNU provides several options to help you match your academic program to your desired job path. I had chosen marketing as my major as I have a keen interest in it. The faculty and student ratio is around 1:18. We get a chance to connect with all the professors and they are very supportive and helpful. All faculty members are professional and well-educated and have a master's degree from a prestigious institution, actively engaging in research and bringing expertise to the classroom. Term exams are typically held every three months and difficulty varies depending on the course,instructor and your background.
Internships Opportunities
Manny well-known companies and Startup Companies visit IMNU for internships Including finance banking manufacturing marketing consulting and healthcare. Companies like JP Morgan, Icici Bank, and Aditya Birla Sun Mutual Fund visit campus and roles offer business development interns research interns, sales interns, etc. Stipends vary depending on the company, and the role, and the minimum have also been zero when the maximum was around 1,00,000 for HR interns projects like the finlatics financial analyst program and skilled sapiens have been offered through the campus and I learnt about equity valuation portfolio management
Placement Experience
Placements of college are decent as recession time is going on it is affecting the placement process as well. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards and for internship placement from the second semester. Companies visited on our campus are JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Icici Bank & the highest package of the campus is around 30 lakhs, and the lowest Package is around 9 lakhs. In recent years, 100% of students secured placements. After getting the degree, I plan to secure a good job and pay off my loan.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for an MBA at Nirma University is around Rs16 lakh and there is no such hike policy, it mostly depends on the government's decisions on inflation and university infrastructure expenses. They also provide scholarships for which you must be eligible based on merit or background but I haven't availed of it so I don't have much knowledge about it
Campus Life
Life at the campus of Nirma University is fun as the campus is very beautiful and there is greenery all over the campus. Tech-fest is conducted normally in January and the annual fest is conducted usually in February. Fest that was conducted Recently on our campus were the NICOM Conference, Anveshan, and Perspective Richter. The library of Nirma University consists of a vast collection of books journals and online messages accessible to IMNU students. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, air conditioning and are comfortable. Sports committee organises a lot of sports activities like cricket tournaments, football matches, basketball matches and so on and there are many other clubs and committees that organise extracurricular activities in campus like treasure hunt, dance competitions etc.Many clubs and committees are run by students like Spandan (Social Group), Club Fiesta (Dance and Music Club), Cultural Committee, News Junction and so on.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls each with three buildings offering double occupancy rooms and triple occupancy rooms for girls. For girls, there are only ac rooms and for boys, there are ac as well as non-ac rooms. Rooms are well-furnished and each room has beds, wardrobes and a study- table There is a facility of free wifi in all over the campus and laundry facilities are provided. The registration process for the hostel is quite simple as we have to just fill out the form of registration when entering the hostel, submit some acquired documents, and also receipt of hostel fees. I don't have much knowledge about rental rooms and pgs as I do not have availed it because MBA is a residential programme.
Admission
The admission process was smooth the eligibility criteria for the admission of MBA is at least 60% in bachelor's and a valid Cat score is the 80+ percentile. I filled out the application form on the IMNU website, submitted the required documents, and paid the application fee that is rs 1500. There are no reservation benefits for anyone. While the current process seems well structured & the suggested improvement includes earlier communication of interview dates and results
Interview Experience
The admission process for an MBA at Nirma University starts with the entrance exam CAT and then filling out the online application & If you are settled for it then you might face a writing test in which you have to write an essay on a topic and after that, an interview round. topics for writing test are not very difficult they are mostly general like the future of AI, rural entrepreneurs and so on. Interview questions are also not very difficult they are like why this program? introduce yourself, recent news, and basic general knowledge.
