Insight to the KRMU Forensic Science department

Forensic science is very thrilling and challenging if anyone chooses to go further in this field. I have always been interested in it but never considered it as an option but it has started to get the recognition it deserves in the last few years and the scope is very high. The faculty is really great. What matters the most about the college is the faculty and that was my reason to choose this college as well. The faculty is very supportive and there's a great bonding among the faculty and students.

The fees structure is mostly the same as most of the universities offering the course. But the exposure you'll get from this university is truly worth it. There are many events organised by the department to help all the students learn and experience things in the best way possible.

College fests take place every semester along with many other events. But, our department itself organises many events for the students. The forensic science week is celebrated every year with the true heroes of this field. You'll get numerous chances to have an approach to people who can provide you great help with your career further. There are all kinds of clubs to join. The hostel facility is pretty great. The registration process is quite easy.It is a very peaceful area. The hostel food is great as well. Hostel is on campus which makes it very easy for students to go from hostel to college.

The admission process was easy. As for the entrance exam that the University conducted, it was mostly based on 8th-11th ncert syllabus, very basic and easy. But, It is always better to apply for other exams like CUET as well, there's a new entrance exam for forensic science students, AIFSET. It is not required by the university but it will help if you're interested in claiming any scholarships later on.
