What Students Say

Likes

The faculty is truly great and the department has a lovely bond.
The library is the perfect place if you ever need some lone time or want to study in peace.
The clubs in the university, there are all types of clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Forensic science is very thrilling and challenging if anyone chooses to go further in this field. I have always been interested in it but never considered it as an option but it has started to get the recognition it deserves in the last few years and the scope is very high. The faculty is really great. What matters the most about the college is the faculty and that was my reason to choose this college as well. The faculty is very supportive and there's a great bonding among the faculty and students.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is mostly the same as most of the universities offering the course. But the exposure you'll get from this university is truly worth it. There are many events organised by the department to help all the students learn and experience things in the best way possible.

Campus Life

College fests take place every semester along with many other events. But, our department itself organises many events for the students. The forensic science week is celebrated every year with the true heroes of this field. You'll get numerous chances to have an approach to people who can provide you great help with your career further. There are all kinds of clubs to join. The college campus is lovely and there's both real and virtual libraries available which have all genres of books. Here's our department's Instagram handle- forensic.science_

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is pretty great. The registration process is quite easy.It is a very peaceful area. The hostel food is great as well. Hostel is on campus which makes it very easy for students to go from hostel to college.

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Admission

The admission process was easy. As for the entrance exam that the University conducted, it was mostly based on 8th-11th ncert syllabus, very basic and easy. But, It is always better to apply for other exams like CUET as well, there's a new entrance exam for forensic science students, AIFSET. It is not required by the university but it will help if you're interested in claiming any scholarships later on.

Great Career Opportunities

Likes

The campus is very open and well structured
It has spacious classrooms and great auditoriums
The labs and research labs are constructed exceptionally well

Dislikes

Some classrooms don't have projectors and smart boards
Hostel mess food isn't exactly great, only few canteens provide actual tasty food
The university's clubs aren't given many opportunities to put on events and are handled very strictly

Placement Experience:

The last year of your course is for internships and placements and Amity University greatly helps out in both areas the highest package is 5 LPA from only the bachelors degree. There are many companies that visit like Amul, Yakult and Mother Dairy etc. The university makes sure that every student in the batch is placed and has placement cells to help them out

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.
