Entrance Preview

UPSEE. As first of all its an old college located in the Delhi-NCR region so its become my first choice. For admission in IMSEC you have to qualify only UPSEE with within a rank of 15k so you are able to take admission in IMSEC. As I have choices of more colleges for B.Tech in Delhi NCR region but due to normal fees structure and the more experienced Faculties of CS department from other colleges made me to take admission in this college.

Internships Opportunities

TCS, Accenture, HCL, and many more companies come here. As I am in first year and first sem I saw that many companies came and recruited also with 150-160 students with handsome salaries. Not even that students of other famous college comes in IMSEC to to appear in Recruitment Day of TCS as TCS comes only in our college to recruit students.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are normal. Neither it is confirmed that after graduation you are leaving the college with degree and job nor it is confirmed that you are not going to be placed. If you are average or normal one, definitely you will be placed. College is also with in touch of central and state govt. so that if you want to start an startup you will get loans easily and more benefits from government.

Currently in celebration of diwali, diwali nights are organized which is far better than any college or you can say it is the best in whole delhi and ncr. Chakravyooh named national level sports competition is organized every year.Tech fest is organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In first year we have to pay 126k which includes 96k of tution fees and other dress, book, internet and more other fees. If you are accommodating hostel you have to pay 75k for triple seater room. I'm also taken this triple seater room.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will get the state government scholarship if you meet the govt criterias.Also you can easily get loans from any bank.

Campus Life

Campus life is not like which you are seeing in the movies. Its totally different. Since the coverage area is not large of our college so their is not many place where students can sit. There are only few place. It lacks in 24hr cafeteria, it lacks in infrastructure like large auditorium it has one but its a small.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. You will get 24hr electricity, wifi, water. Generally which every hostel gives will you get also here.You will get bed, cfl, chair, stool, studying desk, cupboard and a curtain from the hostel.Mess food are normal like every ho

As the facts I got after the interactions with the seniors they said IMSEC alumnus are spread in all over the world, working on reputed post and delivering their high efficiency. Even many successful startups are started by our alumnus.

Exam Structure

There are two internals and one externals in whole sem of six months. And practicals are also held after both internals and one externals.

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

All the teachers are highly qualified mostly from IIT and NIT
In the first year the infrastructure is amazing
The teachers are always concerned about the students but their marks Academics and their issues

Dislikes

There is nothing to be disliked everything is going well..

Placement Experience:

The College placements are very awesome like the last year the higher package was 34 lakhs and the average pockets is 5 lakh per annum and 300 + company is a visiting every year and students are getting place in good companies..

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
