JIIY-128 College Review

JIIT is well known for it's curriculum and as a second year student i can confirm this. Faculty is highly disciplined and academically inclined, they have achived highly in their respective feilds and the knowlegde they have of their suject is impressive. This can't be said for all the faculty but most of them do fall under this catagory. The college life is hectic and managing other things alongside can be tiring. The exams are held every month ir after 1.5 moths. Scoring marks is challengeing even when a student has studied.

Many college senoirs have cracked great internships. However only few companies come to JIIT in 3rd year for internships. Faculties are of great help for students who are willing to work haed and get the internships.

Companais do come in JIIT for placements giving decent packages. Many companies around sec 62 noida has jiit students working there. Some of the compannies include Adobe,Microsoft, Pure Storage, TestBook,Biz2creddit and many more...

The fees is on the higher side while the facilities like proper events and a decent fest is not good. Events are very rare in my campus ie 128 campus. However, the placements are good as the senoirs have told us. Many are doing internships in their 2nd year, these are not from college side but because the coding culture of this is college is great.

The campus life of 128 campus is not at all good, college is made in an wishtown with many underconstructed buildings. Going out of capmus for a short time is not possible as the nearest spots are very far off. College does not care about extracuriculars and fest, even requests of students are denied whenever we propose some event. Classrooms are nice and fully air conditioned. Campus is pretty decent with alot of greenary.

Minmum criteria was 12th graduate with marks more than 60% or cgpa aggreagte. The application process was smooth. Counselling process was little tensed because of high cutt-offs, only few students were guanteed admission and others were on waiting list. I received the mail 2 months after the counselling that i was accepted in phase-2 of the Btech Course with Major in Comuter science and Engineering. However, the responces from college after counselling process were dry not satisfactory.
