Course Curriculum Overview

I Choosed Electronics and Communication Engineering Course as it's a highly demanding now a days . In terms of faculty student faculty it's quite Good there is a disciplinary environment in the college. All faculties are Highly qualified holding a PhD degree in their respective field

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 123000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship offers are on the basis of NPTEL exam in which the student has to get a min Good score to get an internship. To prepare for the examination the NPTEL will provide online classes and we have to attend all those to get a good score

Placement Experience

The students are eligible to sit in the placement rounds from the start of 7th sem onwards before that from the start of 6th sem they will have pre placement classes and pre placement round. The companies like Accenture, tech Mahindra,tata, Wipro, Infosys and Western Digital etc.. the highest package was given by Western Digital the amount is 19lacs per annum.. 93% placement are guaranteed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is Good like for now a days it's less for anyone 144000 is a good fees per year , a candidate can get even more concession in fees if he/she gets a good JEE or OJEE score. They can apply for scholarship by following the certain terms and Conditions

Campus Life

The campus life is quite good if we compare it with other colleges like KIIT and LPU and many more it's quite low but moreover NIST has a healthy environment if the students would put efforts in the Tech fest and many more events we can make it a hit... The tech fest named SANKALP is the south Odisha's largest tech fest

Admission

The admission process is through JEE exam , candidate have to get a good percentile to get his/her desired branch The seat allotment is on the basis of OJEE counselling through college . Students have to come to college to apply for OJEE counselling

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
